From reading some of the reviews it sounds like more of a twisted mind **** S&M porn flick than a haunted house. You all have fun being forced to suck on tampoon. Not my kind of fun.
I think it's the realism that makes it more entertaining. Most people describe their experience as feeling like they've just survived a twisted abduction. I would love that. I actually enjoying being legitimately scared. I've seen the dudes with the clown masks and chainless chainsaws a million times.
FREE THE HOG!!!
I keep reading reviews that you have to put stuff in your mouth, wtf are they putting in your mouth lol.
Edit: I just read a review that said what it was, gross.
Also there is another one here in NYC that I've gone to before that's over the top like this too, but you go in with groups. It was so bad I wanted out at one point because It was completely dark and we had to crawl under or through a tunnel and I freaked and got claustrophobic like crazy and turns out at that point I was done crawling and they told me to just stand up.

Here is the one I went to before, different theme this time, the one I went was fears. This one is killers, you go to their houses and what not and kinda act out real killer's murder scenes. http://hauntedhousenyc.com/ I think I read they even have items that some of these killer's actually owed. Their stuff is top notch, usually done by actual actors and broadway set makers and what not.

did you go to any new ones botched?
Paxton Manor in Leesburg on Friday night- just as good as last year, but the line was longer. It's an old, creepy mansion. Great, original scares at this one.
Saturday we did Haunted Hollow in Warrenton, which was probably even better than the last time we went. It's an outdoor haunt at an old farm with lots of actors and good scares. They also had music, concessions, and bonfires this year. We got there before 8 and the line was already fairly long.
After HH we hit the new rt.29 Haunted House in New Baltimore at the fire house. It's fairly short, but was much better than we expected. Worth a visit and the money goes to the FD, which is a plus.
so no Markoff's after Paxton Manor?
