WEEK 8 Expert Picks: YAHOO!, ESPN, Sunday Countdown,Madden, NBC, FOX, CBS, et al.

The Washington Redskins have won three of their last four games. They have beaten teams with vaunted offensive attacks like the Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles. Yet the experts aren't given them much love. Washington is ranked behind many of the teams they have beaten in power rankings and are picked to lose to the Detroit Lions this week by many of these same experts. Will a victory over the Lions make the experts jump onto the 'Skins bandwagon? Doubtful. The scheduling gods haven't been kind, but the 2010 Redskins don't seem to pay much attention to whom they should or should not beat.

WAYYYY to much love for the Lions, from these guys, fans, and just everybody. People, the Lions are grabage and don't know how to win football games. The Redskins were handing wins out last year, and they've only one A game this year. Sorry about that week one thing, it went down as a loss. I mean, seriously, I'm not scared of this game at all. I consider it an opportunity to really show off some things we can do. I mean think of who we've been playing before this. Cols/Pack/Iggles...we had to gameplan hard and be very careful in those games. I see McNabb, and our D, showing off tomorrow, dealing with kids as they're supposed to be dealt with. As we should be, until we can prove that we can beat the teams that we "should". Although "Any Given Sunday" plays a part in any sport, but we make it happen a little too often.

The Lions may not deserve this much love in general, but playing against us, they do. The Redskins never cease to play down to the level of these types of teams.

Actually, the Skins own the Lions when they play at home. On the road, the Skins play like crap and it showed today.
