Default Today I actually felt sorry for a Cowboy fan.

One of my ex-co-workers was coming into the grocery store I work at tonight. I was leaving after picking up some stuff for dinner and I saw him about to get out of his truck. He was getting out and I yelled at him and finally he noticed it was me and he said Hi! I was like man so you left here before the first game and I haven't seen you since. So how bout Dem Cowboys eh? He was like man come on now. I was like nah seriously I asked during the preseason if you were worried how bad your team was looking and you kept telling me that you guys havent showed anyone anything and when the season started you were going to be blowing everyone up and stuff.

He then said come on now why you gotta be a bully........

We wrapped it up and I got in the car with my fiancee and then it hit me....rewind:

"come on now why you gotta be a bully"

Wait, when did we become the bad guys? When did this happen?

Years and years and before the seasons and so forth they have made sure to remind us about the problems, our record vs them, their glory and our failure. Very seldom have we been able to ridicule them for a lengthy period other than when Cowboys choke when the weather gets frightful and makes us feel oh so delightful (hey it is getting close eh? no not Christmas the time they really start to suck) but back to my point.

We are now the bad guys because we are dishing what they usually serve and now I am a bully.

I then sighed and said I honestly feel sorry for him and kinda sorry the Cowboys are doing this bad that I hate to see my friend like this and maybe just maybe they deserve a few more wins.

Yeah right! Boo hoo look at the Cowboy fan all sad - stop being little whiny ******* and take it with a tough chin. You guys can dish it out but can't take it and call us the bully. Please we are getting what we predicted. We said Wade Phillips was a pitiful coach and that even though Romo has a history of throwing the game once or twice that he is the only thing saving you on offense and if he got hurt you guys would just crumble. Some denied that and praised all these other players and how you'd be hurting but could still win without Romo and that your defense can stop people and yadayadayada. Since Romo's injury your 2 games final score was 35-17 and 45-7. Being outscored 80-24. BTW the two teams were Green Bay and Jacksonville (where Garrad had 17-21 260 yards and 4 touchdowns) you guys are pathetic. And despite what some fans and media and maybe players think - we ARE going to silence the haters. Feel bad for a Cowboy fan.....over my dead body

Thanks Soup For The Sig! WE GOT HIM!!!!!

Ahhh it's funny how fast Dallas fans get on an ultimate defensive posture when their team implodes

Every morning I get up with a big smile on my face. Then I say it out loud, "Dallas is 1-7!" After this, I laugh hysterically for about ten minutes.

After the Green Bay lose for the Cowboys I saw a post on facebook where the person said they were going to remove their Cowboys lisence plate (WV only needs one tag) Hahaha!! The hell with them, they don't even know what we've been through.

Don't worry that feeling of "sorry for a Cowboy's fan will pass", it is just a slight moment that is fleeting.

Most Dallas fans seem to have finally figured out the Cowboys haven't won the last 5 superbowls in a row.

My theory is the Cowboys are the victims of their own obnoxious, everywhere fandom, media darlings, merchandise and ratings draw, biggest shiniest stadium, home-game-Superbowl-in-Dallas, and on and on. Every team gets up to play the Cowboys because of it, and of course the Cowboys couldn't withstand it. Too bad.

Here in the DC area we usually see tons of cowboy flags and jerseys--drives me crazy..this year not so much. I actually respect the ones that wear them now b/c I know they are real fans. Unlike the nubs I see at our game WHILE the Cowboys game is on...morons

Man....I would love to give some crap to some Dallas fans BUT I HAVENT SEEN ANY IN MONTHS AROUND HERE!

These frauds have disapeared. I honestly can not remember the last Dallas shirt/cap/jersey/car flag that I saw in my neck of the woods (Kingstowne VA).

As a Cowboys fan, I can say that it is actually a sense of relief to have the whole Jerruh-Phillips regime come crashing down. These marshmallow coaches, even if they are good with Xs and Os, always end up losing the respect of the team. Now, unlike most Cowboys fans, I'm not buying into the whole Garrett the Savior schtick. I like his approach to team management, but as long as he is the playcaller, I remain skeptical.

Bottom line...don't feel sorry for Cowboys fans. They are getting the flack they deserve. Too many of us believed in the myth that the Cowboys can create a new dynasty every so often. Jerruh has only proven himself to be a mediocre GM and as long as he refuses to bring in someone better, the Cowboys as a so-called premiere organization will be more and more a thing of the past.

I can only dream of a future where the aren't being constantly hyped in the national media (BPSN, stay home please) or have ex-players from the 90s horde all of the broadcasting jobs. Hey, how about a schedule of 16 (or soon to be 18???) straight Sunday 1pm games. No prime time. Yeah, I think would be awesome. Let BSPN and Hard Knocks go bother somebody else for a change.

    I can dream, can't I?

Yup, it's all quite on the bandwagon front.

First the Yankees go down now the Cowturds - a bandwagoners worst nightmare.

    I'm enjoying it.

bleh. you are one of the smarter cowboy fans. cowboyzone is full of delusional morons that are JUST NOW realizing all this. There have been quite a few parallels between our teams actually, but fortunately Snyder has realized his mistakes and has corrected them long before your team ever will. You guys might need to wait until Jerry kicks it or goes senile before anything can truly happen.
