if the Eagles lose tonight and we beat the Giants, we will only be one game out of first place with four games remaining. I know we are playing bad ball right now, but still......We have done this before. We did it in '05 (5 in a row) and we did it in '07 (4 in a row), so why not now? I think it is very strange that nobody is really talking about this. Here is to a Eagles loss tonight and a Redskins win! If it happens, we are right in the run for the NFC East! I know there will be a lot of "not going to happen," but if Philly loses, things will get interesting very quickly.

The good news is the Eagles have 3 division games left out of the last 4. Cowboys twice and Giants once. It's highly unlikely they win all of those.

The bad news is if the Eagles win out... there's nothing us or the Giants can do to stop them from taking the division and if you look at the NFC south.. another team from this division will not make a wildcard.

Might have something to do with the fact that Redskins have not beat the Giants since 2007.

This is exactly why the loss to the Vikings was so bad! We'd already be just one game behind both of them, with the giants up next. The skins could've actually been playing for alot more this weekend if they wouldn't have given one away. Its still there for the taking but we've got to do just that.. TAKE IT!

yep. Vikings game was such a sobering spectacle. I expect another loss to the Giants. Like Lavar Arrington said this week on the WP Giants know they can beat and embarrass us every season. Smack us around, bloody our nose and watch us wilt. Wont change this Sunday.

But in order to get Manning the Giants had to be awful for a couple of seasons.

Snyder and his coaches never want to have that 1-15 or 2-14 type year to garner the top overall pick and get a franchise qb.

SO many people overlook this. THIS is why trying to be mediocre every year is a poor approach.

yep, one only has to look at the Washington Bullets/Wizards in the late 1980's and 1990's to see what going .500 each year gets you.............middling draft picks and a decreasing fan base.
