This is exactly how I feel. I'm really really disappointed that McNabb hasn't worked out. It would have been fantastic, and because of that, it was at least worth a try. Having said that, at least he's not going to stick with the mistake even after he knows it was a mistake. If that were the case, then we might as well have kept Zorn.

EDIT: And RACISM?! What an idiotic question. The guy has given chances to Anthony Armstrong, drafted Trent Williams and Perry Riley, he gave Brandon Banks a chance when very few in the NFL would have (at 5'7" and 155). At this point, I'd like to think he wasn't, but who knows anymore? I have not seen one person on this board who is completely accurate about what's going on with this team. Do I know for sure that Danny was behind it? No. But Dan Snyder, whether he's involved in the day to day or not, is known for wanting to win now. The fact that Shanahan is constantly flip flopping back and forth with his decisions makes him very hard to read. At this point, anything is possible.

If they weren't impressed you sign him to the extension so you can trade him at the end of the year. That's what they did it or at least that's how I perceived it
