Anyone hope the Redskins lose this last game?

I personally hope they do. I don't like Grossman as a QB in the NFL at all. ( That is a huge under-statement.) I'm just thinking they will do better in the draft if they lose. I am looking out for the future not the win now approach.
I also think that there is sooo much more problems on this team that drafting a QB alone is not the answer. Defense was ranked last. Don't have the right people for 3-4 defense. On Offense I believe even if the 'Skins had Brady, it would not help - much. Special teams needs a new coach as well.(IMO)

The fact that you thought it was worthwhile to post this is utterly amazing!! But, it's also very selfish, but tv fans say just about anything. Imagine if you were a paying fan going to the game w/ your family. Would you pay all of that $$ for not only parking passes, jerseys, food, tickets, etc.... to want to see a team lose? wanting to lose for a draft pick is stupid. there's a reason the same teams consistently pick top 10. culture of losing. it's hard to break. you need to win everything you can.

7-9 would be nice to build upon especially with how we were last season, and it would knock the Giants out for sure

No. I won't be devastated if they do, because we'll have better draft position.

But I'd like nothing better than for Grossman to light up the Giants' D, and our for D to smother them. It most likely won't happen anything like that, but a victory to end the season, beating the Giants for the first time since forever, with a rag-tag younger team, to go 3-3 in the division and finish 7-9 and on a 2-game win-streak, after going 0-6 in the division and 4-12 last year, would be important. Especially in Shanahan's first year, even with a pretty bad defense that doesn't fit the scheme and an under-achieving offense. Plus, its easier to trade back from the 13-16 spot in the first round...and it could be that Shanahan's ideal QB might be perfect in that range, anyways. Who knows.

But I won't hope for a loss, ESPECIALLY if it works out that we can play spoiler to the god damn Giants.

Personally, I don't subscribe to the theory of momentum carrying over from one season to the next.

I never "hope" for my team to lose a game. Ever. But in this particular case, I wouldn't be too upset if they lose. But only for better draft positioning, of course.

I would hope my team was at least good enough to win this game. Losing means there's even more work to do, to build a great team. I want the players we have to shine, and achieve. To be stars.

The draft position is a nice consolation, but not a deciding factor, to me.
