When hitting 'Reply With Quote', every reply states that you can only make one reply in 20 sec. Basically, every reply is treated as 2 replies.
EDIT: To clarify, when you hit Reply With Quote and then hit Submit, ES posts your reply and also triggers the "only 1 reply per 20 seconds" error message.

Same here.
More of an inconvenience than anything else to be taken to the edit screen with the "20 seconds between posts" message. A glich I'm sure will be rectified before this thread get's too much longer.
Hail.
Me too with FireFox. Got confused the first time it happened, but I understand it now.
I like that's it's only 20 seconds now vice the 30 before.

Just a note that I am using Chrome 10.0 (latest as of right now) and am NOT experiencing the "Reply With Quote" problem.

Here's to you, bubba! You will be missed.
I'm on IE8 (cue all the mocking comments) and so far I've noticed no problems with the site.
"The only purpose for which power can be rightfully exercised over any member of a civilized community, against his will, is to prevent harm to others. His own good is not sufficient warrant." --John Stuart Mill
"The rule of law is to be preferred to the rule of man. We do not permit a man to rule but the law because a man rules in his own interest, and becomes a tyrant but the function of a rule is to be the guardian of the justice and, if justice then of equality." --Aristotle
Now that's interesting NC.
I'm currently using the same, and experiencing this every time I quote someone.
Hail.
Just posting to confirm issues:
Can't read PM's (it tries to open in another window or whatever and is just blank...same thing happens no matter how you try to open them)
Double-post message glitch for me as well
Using updated Firefox, but tried both of these things in IE as well, no luck.
And just to clarify, the double-post message only pops up when quoting someone else...not when leaving a stand-alone comment in a thread.

"In 2012 the Redskins are gonna be the NFC East champions, and that starts right ****ing today.” --- Kyle Shanahan, 1/1/12.
cant we get something where if someone quotes you it tells you they did. several other forums have that option
That would require another lockout though
Note: I'm using the latest version of Chrome and the reply with quote thing happens to me too. When I hit "reply" it goes to the screen that says I can't post more than once in 20 seconds, but I can click back to the thread and my comment will have posted successfully.

I switched from IE to Firefox last year after years of mocking. I assure you, it really is better. The thing I disliked about Firefox originally, was I didn't like the look or the setup. It was an easy fix when I discovered that they have an add on called looks familiar (or something to that effect) so now my Firefox is set up exactly like IE8, and I love it.
I can also let you know with absolute certainty that if you get error messages while browsing, or get booted from the internet, or have any other nuisance issues that are pretty mino, just annoying, they will be cured when you switch over. Eveything I hated about the internet disappeared when i switched. Everything you hear about Firefox is true, it's soooooo much better.
I just had a glitch guys. When I went to post in the Adrian Peterson thread in Around the NFL, I received the "you must wait 20 seconds before posting again" message. This was my first post of the day. I hit it again, and it said the same thing. I waited 20 seconds, and then the post finally went through, but it posted the message twice. Deleted the repeat.
I'm using Google Chrome. Never had a problem before that I know of.
