Yep. The Famas got a big time nerf. Give the M16A3 or the AEK-971 a try. Another good choice is the F2000. Also get rid of the foregrip if you are using it. The foregrip creates some serious spread at distance post patch.

The patch changed everything for me, I MEAN EVERYTHING. I was playing with Mark327 and all of the light machine guns have no stopping power anymore, it took me literally 50 rounds (half a drum) to drop someone. Now the M1404 shotgun is the USAS 12. Also, has anyone noticed mortars no longer kill anyone? WTF

Don't expect another patch anytime soon. It took them 4 months to get this one to us. Dice is more concerned about the $$$ coming their way with the rent a server and the upcoming CQ DLC. They are in no hurry to get a much needed patch released. They are too busy rolling in money to work on that. Lol

Damn, I was thinking about hopping back on BF3 too. Maybe I wont..... Im playing an arcad type shooter now called Gotham City Imposters. its fun, but the speed is more like the Unreal series instead of BF or CoD. It has its charm and its only fifteen bucks so it passes time for FPS's. Maybe Ill just stick to Tiger Woods, NBA2k12 for now.

IMO the rent -a - sever is killing this game for me . Does Dice even have any of their own servers available on this game anymore ? I can't find one if there is . I'd be scrolling all day looking for one. Still think this game is good , but it fustrates the hell out of me when engaging the enemy and putting a half clip or more in them ( with hit markers ) and still end up getting killed by the person i'm shooting. I really believe it has to do with the private server bit . oh well off to fight te good fight again and die again .

Killed it for me too. The quick match option is now totally useless since the update. I hardly play now, got tired of getting put into ridiculous 1000 ticket games that last 2 hours.

Suppression has been fixed with the newest patch. The game feels the best it has ever been.

If you keep getting annoying "rent a server" servers, it's an easy fix. Go to "Server Browser". The page to the right is a "Search" tool. In it, search "dice". Then all the dice servers will pop up. There's only a few that are active, but that is still better than all those custom ones. You can also search keywords for types of games you like. You can then add those servers to your "favorites" list, and they'll always be there.

They completely ruined the Javelin which now makes it impossible to take out a tank by yourself without ATM. I'm kind of disappointed with this patch as it seems to be geared more towards allowing people to dominate in vehicles without any way of stopping them.

And as far as searching for DICE servers goes, be careful because a lot of the people who have rented servers have named there servers DICE server so people will be fooled into joining it. Just check and make sure DICE is the actual owner before joining.

That trailer is ****ing awesome. I didn't enjoy the Close Quarters maps, and I had a feeling I wouldn't.

However, I'm getting the feeling these maps are gonna be so much fun. So much fun in vehicles.
