2011 ES Dynasty League Rookie Draft Thread: Draft Complete

Ok league, as you all know the NFL draft is this weekend, and Trizz suggested I go ahead and set up this thread for us. So here it is, and i've included the draft order. GO has already posted it in the discussion thread, so if anyone sees any errors, speak up and point them out. It sounds like everyone's anxious to get this thing rolling, so i'm fine with beginning on Monday if that's what everyone else wants to do. It's basically up to Forehead to kick it off whenever he's ready after the completion of the real draft. I'll go ahead and shoot him a PM telling him to start whenever he's ready on Monday morning. And of course as we go, i'll edit in everyone's picks.

Though I have a lot of young players at this position already, I'm going to go ahead and take the only skill position player I consider a sure thing in this draft, and take AJ Green, now of the Cincinnati Bengals.

With the 2nd overall pick in the 2011 ES Dynasty League Rookie Draft, I select RB Mark Ingram, New Orleans Saints.

I love his talent, don't believe any of the reports about his knees for a second, and love even more what NO had to invest in him, in order to move up and get him. That shows how much they wanted him, and he'll get more than enough touches in an explosive offense. He'll produce right away, but over time he'll continually push Bush (if he's there) and Thomas out of the way as he becomes a huge star, and top-10 Dynasty RB.

Bottom line... I think he landed in the best situation to see some significant carries this year, the more I read up on him the more I think he could excel with Miami and become the lead back, even if Brown and/or Williams returns...

Honestly, this is a BIG reach I know for sure..... I wanted to trade back, but did not get a deal I wanted and thought I could still pick Murray.... There are proabably about 6 players that should go before him....

What it does is ensure that whoever is carrying the ball for the Cowgirls, will be on my squad.... so I had to pull the trigger.....
