I did and this is their response.

    Mr. xxxxxxx,

I forwarded your message to our Operations department. This is not the first complaint they've received about the sound system and are taking note of which sections were affected. I don't know 100% that it will be fixed by this coming Sunday's game-- but I know they are looking into it and are working on it.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please let me know.

It's been a long running joke that when you are coming to King's Dominion from Maryland that the 301 bridge is the first ride.

It makes the late Hyper Sonic XL coaster look safe.

I assume the steel beams will come out or at least some of them, giving it a open ended look. Maybe shooting for the Qwest Field type thing but not quite. I do hear though from folks in the upper deck, you do get a nice view of the DC monuments now so that is something.
That was a really great, thoughtful answer. Thank you.

You know who else plays a recording of their fight song. The freakin' Eagles! (Plus a number of other teams, like Chicago, Green Bay, Minnesota; but I figured the Eagles reference would hit harder).

Back to the topic at hand, with this recent renovation my row is now the last row in my section, but I won't complain about that. I can stand all game without worrying about blocking someones view. And the FedEx Field sign on the fence has become my personal noisemaker.
I love the band; so no one take this the wrong way.

Because fans are so wildly yelling and clapping after the TD, it is very hard to hear the band starting HTTR and so a lot of people do not sing along because they cannot pickup where the music is. Consequently, we get a very weak sing a long from the fans. Now when the pump it through the speakers and put the words on the HD screens, the song is deafening because everyone sings along. Frankly, it is much more fun singing when it is that loud with music and fans singing so that we can rub it in on the visiting team that we just scored on their ass.

Unfortunately for us old timers and die hards, a lot of fans do not know the words by heart and need the words on the screen, particularly for the second verse.

So I kind of like having the band strike up the song after the TD and the fans karaoking the song after the PAT. I would like them to turn up the volume for the band when they play.

that coaster has been removed due to it's unreliability. Never rode it.

This of course ties into my theory on why ticket demand will never rebound to RFK levels no matter how many seats they remove or how many Superbowls we win. Sorry S&S, I know you disagree.

Look on Stubhub for the prices of the Dallas and NYG home openers and compare to what those STHs are paying per game with PSL fees. Its already significantly less $ to purchase on a single game basis. This is why I'm also opposed to the further expansion of Lambeau in GB. If aint broke, don't fix it.
I'm starting to come around to your side. But until the economy picks up and the Skins are a regular playoff team, we won't know. It takes time to attract the bandwagon fans. Right now, the stadium pretty much has the die hards and brokers. But even the brokers, I think, are dropping tickets because they are losing money in the current economic and team climate.

People just do not have $2-5,000 to spend on game tickets and parking when they are worring about having a job or getting cuts in pay. And HD tvs with big screens makes it much more attractive to stay home and miss the game in person. This is a real issue around the entire NFL; not just the Redskins. We have 5-6 teams that are going to struggle to avoid blackouts every home game this year. I recently read the Bills have dropped in season ticket holders by about 20,000 seats in just two years. I still do not think you give the economy and the lack of playoff games enough credit for affecting ticket sales for the Redskins.

Yeah, I forgot about that because of the Smart Tag which makes it a little easier but not any cheaper and YES, that bridge is much like the one on Route 3 going into White Stone, two lanes, high above water and no where to go and when trucks are coming the other way, well, you just hope they had a 5 hour energy because they could doze off, knock you in the river and not even know it. I have to tell everybody to shut up and let me concentrate while we go over that bridge.

Not that it would happen in DC, but it is a league wide problem tied into lucrative TV contracts.

In a weak economy, many pro sports teams are re visiting their capacity to maximize attendance.
Baseball is a perfect example of how they have gradually been replacing all thos 50-60,000 seat stadiums with 35-45,000 seat stadiums. Most still do not sell out often but they are near capacity for most playoff teams. I hear the the Harrisburg Senators outdraws the Nats these days.....OK, that's an over exaggeration, but you get my point. (For those who do not know, the Senators are the AA farm team here in Harrisburg, PA for the Nationals.) Players actually sign autographs and talk with the fans before and after games....what a quaint idea.....and only $8-10 for seats along the baselines in the first 20 rows from the field. Have to say, I don't miss MLB baseball at all.

Anyone watched a game yet from a party deck? They are definitely the cheapest tickets. My question is are you standing 2-3 deep watching or does everyone have a countertop-type / bar thing to lean on for the game?

I already have Zona tix and yes, damn they are cheap. But I am trying to snag some eagles tix, and they are not cheap.

On Sunday, it looked like everyone had room at the counter with plenty of elbow room. But then I was looking up from section 108 towards the opposite end zone.

Thanks. I will try to investigate further this Sunday. I've watched entire Nats games in the outfield party deck and had no problems, but not sure I would want to stand for 3 hours with nothing to at least lean on.

Also, I'm wondering why there are rows on the party deck tix on stub hub, yet the are GA? Are you asigned to row/level but then its GA in the row?

You aren't assigned rows. This is just how all GA tickets come from ticketmaster or whomever.

An option for party deckers is also to just find some seats in the club section. I wouldn't want to stand for 3 hours at a football game, and there are always thousands of empty club seats.
