Ah okay, I figured. Although I must heavily disagree on Gimme Shelter, just one of those songs to me, where the studio version is on another level because of the mixing and Merry Clayton's vocals.

Agree with you on the vocals on Gimme Shelter. But I love the rawness of the live version.

I can't decide on a top 5, but if I had to create my own personal "Road Trip Playlist," Sympathy For The Devil and Satisfaction are two songs that would be on there, without a doubt. Love those two.

It's weird for me. "Satisfaction" feels very overplayed to me. But I could listen to "Jumpin Jack Flash" and "Brown Sugar" a million times and never get bored with them.

Uhhh no. Dr. John was in the studio when it was recorded and ended up singing in the background but Nicky Hopkins plays piano on that track. But if you love Monky Man you can't be a bad dude.

I came across an awesome video that I never knew existed about the Stones. I read about in the Led Zeppelin book "When Giants Walked the Earth" (a great book about Led Zep).

It's called the **** Sucker Blues and is a 1 hour 40 minute video of raw footage of fans, music, radio interviews & raw sexual debauchery that existed during their time on the road. Lots of scenes with Mick Taylor.

I won't link to it because of it's title, but you can find it on Youtube. Pretty wild for any fan of the Stones. Wild, wild stuff.

A lot of clips from that were in the recent HBO documentary. I'm fairly certain that "Almost Famous" used scenes from that as a template. The film is not widely circulated these days, but it's fairly well known.

I like all of their work, but a lot of the more mainstream/over played stuff, I dont listen to as much. Especially if it reminds me of a car rental commercial or something similer.
