    Washington Redskins
Plaxico Burress will be looking for a new home, and the Washington Redskins currently have just one established veteran receiver (Santana Moss), and he’ll be a free agent when league operation resumes. True, the Redskins just drafted three receivers in the 2011 NFL Draft, could bring Moss back, and haven’t been tied to Burress, but you can’t rule it out when you’re talking about Daniel Snyder.

In the fantasy realm, its hard to love Burress’ chances in this offense, specifically since there is no real answer at quarterback.
I know we are linked to every possible free agent, but c'mon. This dude brings nothing to the table for us and/or our plans. If we're going to sign anyone, it has to be re-signing Moss.

Thanks to Soup for the sig!

I would take Plaxico Burress in a second. Last I read he was looking to go to Philly.

Gotta love the off season coupled with the lockout. Seems like more poo being thrown at walls than usual.

I'd rather start Hankerson and see what he's got. No more over the hill vets stunting our young players' growth.

NO.....NO.....NO. We do not need a 34 year old former convict with a hole in his hiney. Besides he would never come here because he would have no clue who is QB was going to be. Plaxico ain't coming to DC with its gun control laws more strict than NYC.

I'm in for bringing Santana back....still has a couple years left.....wants to play for us.....good character.......hard worker......great example for the young WR we just drafted.
"That's not enough rings," Griffin said. "We've got to get more."
"Alright, Sammy," Griffin said. "I'll see you later."

Plaxico will not be a Redskin. He will goto a team that is 1-3 players away from a superbowl appearance due to age. We are 15 players away from a superbowl appearance.

Ugh ... all I know is that is if Plaxico is signed by the Eagles, that offense is going to be one pain in the *** to stop ...

Why? Aside from the fact he's a complete bonehead, he'll be 34 when the new season rolls around and hasn't played ball in 2 years down to the fact of him being that bonehead.

Throw in we just drafted 3 wide-outs, to add to a real youthful looking group with Austin, Banks, and Kelly 24 or under; with the older heads of Armstrong, all be it with his limited experience, and Moss if he re-signs; I honestly don't get why people still see WR as a need.

It's not as if even if we added Jerry Rice, Marvin Harrison or Art Monk in their primes we'd be a contender this year or next.

I'd even be happy with Moss finding another team to give himself one last chance at glory; whilst opening up another slot for one of the younger guys to get a years valuable experience in on the active roster.

    Hail.

    +1

People are trying to say its the same situation as Vick. No, its not. He's a 34 year old WR that we do not need.

Please someone name one possible FA that has not been "linked" to the Redskins. These journalists need to move on. Vinny is gone.

Exactly. We should do EVERYTHING we can to get Moss back.

However, if Moss goes elsewhere Plaxico is an intriguing option.

Hell no......his career was slowing down before he decided to go all Wyatt Earp in the club. He will end in in Philly AKA Alcatraz south.

    No freaking way.

and someone needs to tell the writer that Allen is making the contract decisions, not Snyder. If you can't see from the contracts we've given out since Allen has been GM that he is in charge of that stuff, then you're either not paying attention or don't want to. Dumb article from a lazy writer.
