Cool Video (E3 Madden 12)

Hey Guys,

I may get some flack for posting this in the Stadium, but I feel as though the Madden forum doesn't get enough traffic. Anyway, I'm a HUGE Madden football fan and I've been looking on youtube FOREVER, to find a video showing the Redskins in Madden 12.

Well, finally, I found one. It's of us playing the cowboys, and the quality isn't that great, but it's better than nothing.

Feel free to post any videos that you find that also show the Redskins in Madden 12, I'd love to see them.

That was creepy as heck, so long Phil I guess For someone to go on a 4 1/2 minute diatribe about someone leaving EA is a bit wierd IMO.

On a second note, they didnt' look too hot in this video with Carlos getting burned for a TD, getting 8-9 yards on 1st down and not converting just seems all too familiar.

ThT vid doesnt seem all that great. Reminds me of madden 10 with the gameplay all fast. Mike sellers ran for like 20 yards in like 2 seconds. The playbook still look the same. Whats really different?

That's every Madden game since they got the exclusive license. NFL2K5 is still the best football game on the market.

The franchise mode is supposed to be reworked, with the ability to trade future picks, and better drafted players, the ability to change teams in franchise mode, without starting a whole new series. http://www.ea.com/madden-nfl/1/franc...uperstar-modes


I'm guess they had a feeling Madden 12 wasn't going to sell as much, since the game was so stagnent, so they decided to retool franchise and superstar modes.

I buy Madden only because it's the only way to use the Redskins, but I believe that will change soon, isn't the rights for names and player names coming up again and everyone will be able to use them? Either way, Madden has been God awful since 08. Every year it seems like they care more about stupid replays, graphics and ways to introduce teams. Don't care about that whatsoever, give me some real play. I wish the makers of MLB the Show would make a football game when the rights come out. They know how to make a baseball game that looks great, but also plays great.

As far as EA, they've already stated we are one of the worst teams in the game. Yet I'm sure they have the Cowboys ranked the same way they did after the 07 season, as they do every year.

That's exactly why I haven't bought one in years. I refuse to pay $50 a year for a roster update. Sure they'll add some random minor detail to the game, but it rarely makes it any better than the year before. The only actual improvement they've made since '05 has been Superstar mode, IMO.

Hopefully, if this guy has been in charge of Madden for all these years, whoever they bring in will realize that they've been ripping people off for half a decade and do something to actually make the game better.

Madden is under new development this year. They have completely re-done franchise mode. The new lead designer came from the NFL Head Coach games and has made it more in-depth. He basically said they completely rebuilt the franchise mode and are going for a more hardcore audience.

My biggest pet peeve was 230 lb defensive ends playing DE in a 3-4 effectively. They need to get the weights right.
