Big Ten better get ready to Fear The Turtle.
"In 2012 the Redskins are gonna be the NFC East champions, and that starts right f–king today.” Kyle Shanahan, 1/1/12
But beating teams like Northwestern in your conference (UVA, Miami, Wake Forest, etc.) is the way teams make the tournament. A good team will beat the teams they need to beat.
And I think NW is better than those teams. I think they might actually make the tournament this year.
In the ACC, at least in most years (maybe not this year), if you can split the Duke/UNC games and beat up everyone else, you'd be in good shape. This Maryland team won't struggle with the lower tier teams in the conference as much as past years, and that's something to get excited about.
And these Terps are only going to get better this year.![]()

How about we play at least once conference game or beat one ranked team before we proclaim the greatness of Maryland Basketball this year...
Big 10 - ACC challenge went 6-6. In two years, we'll be rooting for the Big 10 to win.

OK, and... do they really think that we are suddenly better than Duke, UNC, and NC State? Really...

Again, very very far from being a # 1 seed in the ACC or anywhere else based on that.
I must have missed the part where someone claimed the Terps were better than Duke or UNC anyway I think The Terps look solid and if they continue to play the way they are playing I think they will get a really nice seed in the dance this year.

NC State? Overated as usual. With the way they and CJ Leslie have played, they'll be lucky to get in the NIT.
