For the most part, I do like the costume. Love how big the cape looks and I like the fact they got rid of the silly looking red trunks. When you look at the high resolution picture, the mesh or whatever the costume is made out of looks similar to the new Spider-man one... and I'm not sure how I feel about that. I'll wait to see it in action, though. I had seen some sweet fan designs that included a collar, which made Superman look slightly militaristic and pretty bad ass... would've been cool to see something like that. Overall, I'll take it.
On another note, I feel bad Brandon Roth was given such a ****ty movie to star as Superman. He looked so great in that role.

I just hope that this one is better than the last one. But since Nolan is producing it and Snyder is directing it, then it can be a hit.
I like the conceptual artwork so far of Superman.
Some shots of Cavill on the set as shown on "Ain't it cool news"

Diane Lane can so get it. Twice.
I don't know that I have anticipated a movie coming out two years down the road.
This is no different.
See it when I see it.
Thanks for the sig LCSF
Pic is bad freaking ass.... Looks like dark knight stuff.... Was not too jazzed about this but the pic is so cool... I am sold.
I hated 300 but loved watchmen and dawn of the dead... So Snyder is hot or miss for me... I loved superman returns too but this could be very cool.
I loved the throwback stuff in Superman Returns (intro credits, Clark Kent look and Routh was totally channeling Reeves). Other than that, whenever I watch it again, it's just frustratingly stupid 50% of the time. Louis Lane's unlikable, there's a silly Super kid story line, and Lex Luther tries to do the exact same thing as in the previous movies.
I bet he lifts a bunch of heavy stuff in this one.
Superman is such a lame, predictable character. They should at least make him an alcoholic womanizer or something. Put that x-ray vision to good use for once.
Problem with any superman remake is that most people see Christopher Reeve in their mind when they think of Superman. Anyone else just looks weird, especially if the director tries to make him look like Reeve. That was the problem with the last film from 2006 (plus a dumb plot).
"Sorry Danny, but I need your helmet for the rock party in Pasedena on January 30..."
Here's a thought.
Can we do a superhero movie that is not a ****ing origin story? Just one?
You know something? I know how Superman became Superman. You know how I know? Because it's been done in 45 different media over the past 70 years.
I thought they were going to cast this guy.
