Brooks is huge though, unless he's a ridiculous athlete, how is a 350 pound guy going to fit in the ZBS?

I think we do look at WR, but would prefer McNutt, Childs, or Broyles.

Where are you seeing he ran a 4.38? I do not believe he is anywhere near that fast.

A guy that big that runs a sub 5.0 forty has to open eyes and it has. I didn't think he'd be on our radar, but the tweet suggests he is. I'm not crazy about the OG position and believe it to be the weakest by far in the draft. I think we sign a few UDFA types.

I do like Jeff Allen though who projects inside and out. Washington MAY be able to play RT.

Wonder just where Childs will go?

If the medical prognosis is good for him to return to what he was, he'd be a fantastic addition.

They don't have his size or leaping ability and give me Bey over ANY of our WRs other than Garcon.

Don't be confused by his size.

He's as athletic and quick on his feet as guys 40 some pounds lighter. And I firmly believe the way forward in the ZBS is with bigger, athletic guards to combat the size D-lines are getting to now.

But it'll doubtless be a moot point as I doubt he drops past the midway point in the second.

    Hail.
No...this is a deep draft and guards don't come off the board fast. A tackle in the third is fine, but trading up for a guard is ridiculous IMO when there are good pospects available later.

    Round 2-Justin Hunter WR
    Round 3-DJ Swearinger S
    Round 4-Blidi Wreh-Wilson CB
    Round 5-Kerwynn Williams RB
    Round 5-Ace Sanders WR
    Round 6-Damion Stafford S
    Round 7-Chris Thompson RB

Heyward-Bey is 6'2 and has great leaping ability. And he did break out last year, but he's a #2 at best. For whatever reason, you think that size + speed + hops is all that goes into a WR. If that were true Marko Mitchell and Devin Thomas would be studs, and Wes Welker would be out of the league.

It seems like you want an "exciting" WR more than you want a "good" WR. Just watch that cutup. That's the guy you're in love with ON TAPE, struggling to get seperation against college DBs. He's slow. He's plodding. His GAME SPEED is pathetic. All you're citing is his 40 time to say he's fast, when on tape he's a plodder. I guess Kendall Wright is slow now?

Right now he's on my "do not draft in any round" list.

He's got some guys ahead of him. Perhaps bottom of the 3rd or 4th round.

Surprised Hill fell out of the 1st.

Chris Carter said it was a weak WR class, but I beg to differ. I see plenty of good talent available throughout.

Another WR I'd look at is Cody Pearcy. You can probably get him late in the 6th or 7th. He could be a REALLY nice slot guy.

It was more the tackle I'd be moving back for in that scenario as I'd snap Brooks up if he fell to the third. (Kendricks not withstanding.).

But yeah, if he didn't, I'm with Chump in waiting until the very back end or the UFA. Looney in the 7th or undrafted would round things off nicely.

May Chris Carter burn in Hell for his gutless attacks on Art.

That is all I have to say on him.

Some of those throws were pretty bad which didn't help Jeffrey who had little separation on almost every single play.

Regardless... he didn't help his QB much by giving any room to throw...

Bey is 6'1 and has great speed and had a great Rookie year. I don't care if he is a #2 or not he is better than anyone that took the field for us last year. Speed, Size and Hops = defensive troubles. Marko was NOT an all-american and was lazy he was as you say "another big guy". Devin Thomas had done NOTHING before his junior year and I was completely against the pick and only had a 33" vert. Was never an all american either. Jeffrey was an All-american his freshman and sophmore years. He is faster and has shown a FOURTY TWO inch vertical listed @ 37". LMAO it is not even a COMPARISON!
