I had thoughts about moving it more than once, and it can happen any time, but the other guys (and frankly a lot of PMs) have persuaded me otherwise so far. Once an irate "victim" gets them rolling, this kind of thread, like the "my special avatar" one, is correctly identified as traditionally (since before I and most staff even joined the site) being major entertainment for most of the membership, especially during slow news times. Anyone who reads these threads sees how many people are finding it fun, even in all its weirdness.
I see plenty of sad, stupid, or worse, in most (not all) of what such “victims” post in these crusades to right injustice and get "that ****ing mod and **** that message board", or with just the plain old headcase spazz-outs. But others see plenty of humorously pretentious and silly message board rants of the garden variety, and they find it all highly amusing. I think many members here might have enjoyed the Roman coliseums back in the day.![]()

I despise banning people. Especially fellow Redskins fans. How tragic is it that? And why? Because many can't even follow what really amount to a few rules. I don't buy in to this whole oppressive bull**** thing with them either. Avoiding board clutter, copyright issues, and most importantly, maintaining a bit of civility. Just like real life. Just that simple. Yet the banned list is full of those who can't even do that. Yet it's my fault when I enforce those rules? Please. Anyway. As much I despise threads like this and continue to fight the temptation to close it as well,I would just as soon let folks "air it out." Let us know how you feel if you must and we'll do the rest. Which is lame and pathetic as well. Don't like the place or some here? Leave. Be all growed up and simply walk away. If it really is that bad, then it shouldn't be all that hard to do. Just like real life.
