I find it funny that everytime someone calls out another poster for grammar, they make a mistake of their own.

I think it's funny that so many people automatically assume that some "behind the scenes story" is going to be some ugly negative story about the coaching staff when someone gets cut. To me it seems that it has more to do with Kelly's body and how it holds up, there is so much that could be wrong with the guy that doesn't show up on an MRI that could a;so explain why someone is so prone to muscle strains and tears.

    All guess work of course.
That's entirely within reason. So going with that for a second, if the medical people can't find anything wrong and he's not on the field, it's legitimate for the coaches to think the guy might be a little soft. I mean, this is pro football, if you can't go, you'd better have a good reason.

But like I say, if you're in such pain that you can't practice for whoever many weeks, get a second opinion. Obviously, you're in some significant pain and the training staff is ill equipped to diagnose it and deal with it. It's only your livelihood we're talking about. Particularly when you know the reputation you've already obtained in your short career.

Lets not forget people, Malcolm was drafted by the 'Skins during the years where players who didn't like what coaches had to say, had an open door to Snyder's office to go whine and complain that "coachy isn't being nice"

    That nonsense is over now.

Regardless of whether or not Kelly becomes a good WR on another team, the bottom line is that on the 'Skins he was injured too much to produce. His injuries will eventually heal with the proper rest and if he is an NFL caliber WR then he will show it somewhere else.

How is Devin Thomas doing, btw?

According to Chad Dukes, Devin Thomas has had a great preseason and will make the Giants roster as their primary kick/punt returner.

However, a quick look at NYGiants.com shows that Devin Thomas is LAST on the WR dept chart.

Plus, he muffed a kick off return last Monday night.

Dude is toast, he'll be back to making videos with c-list celebrities in no time.

Hardly getting on the field as a receiver and followed up a 70 odd yard kick return in the second game with a muff out of bounds at the 5 yard line in the third game. Probably on the bubble to make the team and close to being let go by the third team in under a year. The commentators were saying Coughlin was talking about his inconsistency and how he needed to follow up one good play with another not take the rest of the game/practice off.

    Same 'ol same 'ol basically.

The 70 yard kick return was a product of awesome special teams play. Anyone of us could have returned the ball up field. You could have driven a truck through the hole.

I think MK has milked the system to perfection....Made a few million, didn't have to play, and hung around long enough to get a settlement and "RETIRE". I imagine his agent had this figured from the start, knowing he wouldn't be able to stay healthy. MAN!!
