honestly, i think Helu should get #26 instead of Wilson..... i know Wilson is a more senior player, but Helu was a Redskin longer(drafted in april), and should get the choice.... wilson wasn't signed until july.......

As long as it's not retired, let em have 28, the only number they shouldn't give out is 21, which they should retire, in my opinion.

If you are up in arms about 28 being worn, than retire it. If it isn't retired, it's fair game (if Darrell says it's ok). Only unofficial retired number that shouldn't be touched is obvious

I'm not opposed to 44 being untouched, either. Biggest thing, though, is that 28 shouldn't be worn.

As long as it's not at the position that made it "untouchable" I'd be ok with people wearing it - 21 and 28 for a RB or 44 for a DB, for example.
