I lived in the DC area most of my life, then had to go to North Carolina for military purposes. I have to have NFL ticket to watch skins games and I miss Redskins Nation soooooooo much. Carolina sports are horrible. Minor league baseball, Panthers but mostly North Carolina and they don't even know the NBA exists (which may be a good thing). The only pro team they really care about in this area of Carolina is the Hurricanes.

They dont call them Communist Cast for nothing! I cant get Sattelite cause I live in the woods and there is not a good enough signal for a good picture. Verizon hasnt come out here yet so Comcast is my only choice....one of my wifes friends works for them and when we told him it was Comcast or nothing he said he would choose nothing! He has Directv....that peaks volumes to me.

I have no problems with Comcast here near Annapolis. My friends just got so fed up with Verizon Fios billing practices that they switched back to Comcast

I called on Wednesday and scheduled someone to come to my house today. The rep scheduled my appointment for yesterday. I had gotten a call from a random number while I was at work and thought that it was just a wrong number so I didn't call back. I call today and after being on hold for 15 minutes, someone must have accidently answered. I could hear other reps talking but nothing else. They eventually just hung up. I had to wait another 15 minutes on hold in order to talk to a rep. I love Comcast!

does anyone have the "digital starter" service? do you get AMC HD in that package?

one of our promotions just ended (actually it went from the lowest promotional price to the second lowest promotional price before going to full price) and we can't get into any other better promotional offers. until full price kicks in.

so i'm essentially paying $130 for the digital preferred double play (cable and internet) with no premium movie channels. that seems outrageous to me.

can anyone tell me what channels are lost when you go to the digital starter package? I know you lose NFL Networks but I'm not sure about AMC.
