This. The NFL feels that the Giants @ Washington, cities that were BOTH attacked on 9/11, AND are also divison rivals, got beat out of the prime time slot by Dallas Cowboys @ NY Jets, Dallas having NOTHING to do with 9/11 and the teams are not only non-division rivals but also not even in the same conference?

Oh, wait. It's Dallas. Nevermind. Come on, NFL. That's shameful, IMO. Dallas gets the hype/attention/spotlight 365 days a year on every sports outlet. Can't the "prime time" focus NOT be on them for just this once?

Even if we all weren't Redskins fans, wouldn't most of us agree that the 9/11 prime time/tribute game SHOULD be NY @ WASH in the national spotlight? Like, shouldn't that be a no brainer?

I hope not. Not because I don't like the president, but because it takes forever to get into events when the president is there. I went to a Nats game one time when Bush was there. It took about 45 minutes to get into RFK because everybody had to go through metal detectors.

I think this whole thing sucks.

I'm jacked for the start of the NFL season. This game isn't a football game, it's another 9/11 special.

Enough already...can't we just watch a football game?
