    Here are seven reasons why:
    1. Rex Grossman and Will Montgomery
    2. Tim Hightower and Jabar Gaffney
    3. Barry Cofield, Stephen Bowen and Ryan Kerrigan
    4. Kyle Shanahan
    5. Mike Shanahan
    6. Bruce Allen, Scott Campbell and the NFL lockout

    So far, so good.

Let's check in on the Eagles:

#7 The "Dream Team" Cluster****, the 2011 Philadelphia Eagles

I was going to post an entire thread on this topic, and may do so as I have time.

Suffice it to say, the Eagles are massively overrated and have critical problems across the board. They have no center and no RG, unless you count the guy they picked up off waivers on Sept. 3 and who will START game 1 at RG!. Their OL coach was pulled out of retirement from the Colts, is 69 years old, and rides around on a scooter due to poor health. Vick is being hit every other drop-back. Their defensive coordinator is their failed OL coach, "promoted" to defensive coordinator. They have 3 all-star CBs and no LBs, unless you count "Fredo" Matthews.

This is a team only Vinny could create, and he essentially did. The director of pro personnel (the guy who scouts the rest of the NFL) is Louis Riddick, who previously held the same position with the Redskins under Cerrato. He's a complete clown. That the Eagles have put him in such a position again, and allowed him to chase after star skill players while ignoring the OL and LBs, is classic Vinnyball.

Dream Team my ass. Karma's got #7 on speed dial.
Vick ran well as usual (10 rushes, 98 yards), but a lot of that was escaping pressure and some undisciplined defense by the Rams.

Vick completed 43.7% of his passes: 14 of 32, 187 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INTs. He was sacked three times and hit 11 times. Eagles OL looked like crap early, then settled down when the Eagles got a couple of cheap early TDs (one on a fumble return). Vick looks like an injury waiting to happen, but the Rams provided a textbook on how not to attack him. They had outside pressure while leaving passing lane gaps uncovered, which Vick routinely took advantage of for big runs (when he wasn't being hit).

On defense, Eagles looked like crap as I expected, but the Rams lost Steven Jackson for the game after only two runs. First run went for a 47-yard TD, after Eagles LBs over-pursued and Jackson cut back. Rams seemed to lose energy after Jackson went out halfway into Q1 and the Rams quickly followed (same drive) with a sack / fumble by Bradford from the Eagles 29-yard line, which the Eagles returned for a TD. With the Eagles up 14-7, the air seemed to go out of the Rams for the rest of the game.

(By the end of the game, Rams had lost Jackson, Bradford and Danny Amendola to injuries. Amendola's looked like the worst, a hyper-extended elbow. Bradford will have an MRI on his finger on Monday. It's on his throwing hand, possible nerve damage.)

I still think the Eagles are vastly overrated, but it will take a better opponent to expose them.

They have 3 all-star CBs and no LBs, unless you count "Fredo" Matthews.
Here's what Eagles fans had to say about Matthews after the game:

    Matthews isnt a NFL player

I mean he sucks in every aspect. **** the fluffers who support this guy. A ACL tear here wouldnt be a terrible thing since FF needs his hand forced to make a move at MLB. Put Chaney back where he made plays. Put Fokou back at Sam and Rolle or Clayton at WIL.
    He's not a CFL player.
O come on ladies. Every ****ing one of you would let out a sigh of relief if FF came to the podium saying Matthews was out for the season and Chaney will be back at MLB.

I still like the Redskins' chances to win this division.

MNF against the Cowboys, week 3, will be a good test. Cowboys are showing their upside.

I think it's pretty effing disgusting that Eagles fans are openly hoping for one of their own players suffers a season ending injury. As much as some guys around here get crapped on, I don't recall ever seeing Redskins fans openly advocating a guy getting put on IR for a whole season because they had a bad game. Perhaps implied it, but never come out and actually said "I HOPE SO AND SO TEARS AN ACL!".

    That's sick.
