Something I've been trying to do for a couple of years is finally going to happen next month -- I'm flying in from Seattle for a weekend to meet up with my dad for back-to-back UVa and Redskins home games (10/15 & 10/16).
Plane ticket has been purchased, so now I'm working on game tickets, and I'm interested in opinions.
To preface, we've seen several games together at FedEx, and I've been to a couple of other games there with friends, so I'm not new to the stadium. But I am considering some seating options where I've never sat before. I've sat in several different spots on the Skins side -- the 100s a few times, section 201 once (a few rows in front of the TV booth), and the club section once, around the right-side 20.
Our last game there was the win over Tampa Bay two years ago, where we sat in section 142, row 25, which were pretty nice seats, though I wouldn't mind a higher viewing angle.
I'm considering four options for our seats this time, in no particular order:
1. Similar seats as last time, towards the top of the lower bowl, mid-field, Skins side (sections 101 or 142).
2. Row 1 or 2 of the 400 level, mid-field, Skins side (sections 401 or 454).
3. Club level, corner of the end zone. Preferably Skins side, so sections 308 or 335. And I'm aware that only the front halves of these sections have seats, and the rear halves are party decks.
4. Corner of the end zone, preferably Skins side, but in row 1 or 2 of the 400 level.
Options 2-4 are places I've never sat before, but that interest me, so I love to hear some comments on which place you think is best, and why.
Thanks!
