I wish all of the younger fans could have experienced seeing a Redskin game at RFK. There are always idiot fans at every venue, but RFK was amazing. I was so glued to the action on the field I don't remember a big problem with fans.

53k so it was smaller and felt smaller (which was cool watching a game). It was so damn loud it would hurt your ears...there were metal partitions that separated the sections and on defense fans would beat the living crap out of these metal partitons....it was LOUD.

I think that most fans went to see the game first and tailgate second. Now it seems that a lot of people show up to get hammered then happen to be there when the game starts.

Since it's been very obvious how the local sports writers use this web site for articles in the past can we "PLEASE" keep this thread at the top in hopes that one of them will write this week how important it is as to when and when not to be loud?

We need our fans this week.

I know a lot of stadiums put directions up on the big screen. Like a "Make some noise" when the defense is on the field. And a "Quiet. Offense at work" for when we have the ball.

Maybe that would help some folks out.

An 8 game losing streak at home has to be broken somehow.

Are you guys agreeable with me in this?

Can the admins see the importance of this and possibly sticky it until such time we do get everyone on the same page?

Yes I've seen the jumbotron make those distinctions,
    But it hasent been enough.

We now need the local sports writers and the local radio stations to help move this point across.

I think if people are complaining that people are standing, they should probably get up and stand and cheer, o rwatch th ejumbo tron, or just watch comfortably at home. Maybe they make a lot of money, and can afford to be the way they are. In a case like mine, if I have ticket to a game, I am going to be standing up, cheering my ass off, and I am going to be as loud as possible. I am going to make the most of my experience.

If you want to sit down the entire time to get an awesome view, I'd say that you're better off getting the absolute best view you can have, in your recliner, with HD, and surround sound.

At least they've managed to be in the stadium for kickoff both of these games. If there's another thing that irritates and baffles me it's how empty our stadium tends to be at kickoff

I have noticed that for quite a while now, this new breed of Redskins fan suck! I loved watching real home field advantage in our old pig pen RFK Stadium, thats how all Redskin fans should be!

The drinking, language and fighting has nothing to do with the Redskins. That's just a mirror of our failing society.

The problems are the empty stadium, the noise on offense and the lack of it on defense, thanks to the TV watchers in the stands.

This is not a unique issue to this team, nor is it worse here than most places.
No the Eagles is the worst horrible parking outside the stadium, drunken people inside the stadium. Gridlock for hours on the Blue Route and 95 when you’re going out of the stadium. I would never go to see a skins and eagles game in Philly agian

Yes, we do. I'm hearing it all over, about how the Falcons are gonna win, but at least they're giving RGIII props. Falcons fans are aware of how much fight our team has now, but they're expecting a W.
Fans in the stands need to do things right...it helps the team!!! (I will do what I can here, trust me!!)
Btw, I have customers travelling up to go to the game, and have told them about ES, so they'll be lookin' to meet some of you, even if I can't.
    Hail!

Why wouldn't you take the subway? I have no idea why people drive to games in Philly.

Also, it's really not that bad getting out of there and the Blue Route is always bad.

This is the part that rings so true. People are more interested in how many $9 beers they can inhale then the action on the field.

Another thing I agree with. People treat it like a godamn FRAT party.

The biggest thing that irritates me more than anything is the jackasses that say "Don't bring your kid to the game." **** you buddy. **** you.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: The quality of the fan will improve with the quality of the team.

I remember a rumble in our section (114) back in 2010. We didn't have an usher so my brother and I became peacekeepers. I actually saved two kids (Vikings fans) from getting trampled by an obese drunk redneck woman. She was obnoxious the whole game, screaming when the team was an offense, cursing, etc. Late in the 3rd Quarter I look down and she had somehow defied the laws of physics and was upside down on her head.
