    Redskins Dallas Fans at Game

I have to give credit where it's due. Dallas Cowboys fans were a class act during my visit to Dallas. I hate the Cowboys and I told everyone with ears but I tailgated with them for hours before and after the game. All of them I met over the weekend. Oh, don't get me wrong they were in my face all day but it was all in love of their team. They fed me, took my trash talking and gave it back. None took it personal except Dez Bryant. Lmao.

Trying to find my way to my tailgate party we came up to area near stadium where a bunch of fans were standing by waste high gates. I told my cousin it looks like players entrance. There was nothing stopping you from walking on the other side to continue walking around the stadium so there is me and my cousin (Cowpukes fan) the valet and security and opposite us a small crowd. A white bentley pulls up and I said that's a player. I just guess and say aloud "is that Dez?" A security guard turn around to face me and says "yeah that's Dez" with a smile. Oh yeah I think to myself. Hes about 6 feet away getting his gear out and valet is waiting.
    Me: Dez!
    Dez looks up
Me: (pointing at my laron jersey.) you better hope he ain't playing. You better hope he ain't playing!!!
Dez: oh yeah. He better worry about me
Me: you ain't catching **** today! Not a thing. You better hope laron is out.
Dez: he's gonna have to worry about me. Matter of fact you better hope you ain't playin.
Me: I don't play but you will hear me on your ear.
Small crowd starts laughing and cheering not sure what he mumbles walking in but it was funny as hell. I took pic but should have got video.

After the game I had to wear my cousins Dallas hat out as he lambasted me. I took **** all night but a lot of good games and great sports. Sadly Im not sure they would have gotten the same at FedEx. I've seen some drunk verbal assaults!! HTTR.

I took a bigger beating at a Miami game years ago then I did when I went to old Texas Stadium on a Thanksgiving day game. Dallas people are actually pretty respectful.

Agree with Texas Cowboy fans. They are very mild, must be a southern hospitality thing.

Now Cowboy fans with NBD from the Northeast,

Good **** talking to Dez Bryant. Of course that guy has a white Bentley.
“I just wanted to say to the fans … in D.C. and across the nation, they’ve been great for us, cheering us on. At away games they show up in the masses and at home they really made it feel like a home-field advantage. We said this when I was in college, ‘We got a chance to sit at the dinner table and experience success and it was a good meal. But now we want to go back to get dessert.’ We’ll be ready to get dessert next year.”

Yeah, I was extremely impressed with the Cowboys fans down there. They were even more mild-mannered than Redskins fans.

I'll agree that DFW/Texas/Oklahoma Cowboy fans are usually good people. They're the real Cowboys fans that are passionate about their team.

Boys fans anywhere else are the worst, though.

I've never been to Texas but several members of my family have over the years. They say that the people there are really nice, and most fans I know that have watched a game in Dallas say for the most part their fans are very hospitable to them.

DMV Dallas fans are another story. Idiot bandwagon fans of the first order.

Yup, but me and Dez didn't talk after the game. lol. IMO, we got caught on a blitz and Romo and Bryant made a hell of a play. The flat route Dez ran was covered by Hall but since Romo escaped the blitz, Bryant reversed field and ran away from Hall. I think we could have played that one more conservatively and just let them pass for 10-15 and make the tackle, but what do I know. If the blitz worked we would be 2nd guessing something else.

As much as I hate to say it... Dallas is the quintessential away game... They know the line and they never cross it. The two times I've gone down there were great, they weren't being overly nice but it was more or less playful razzing. They would make fun of your jersey but never you and they can say it with that playful smirk where you know it's nothing against you personally.
