A lot of big talk from the NFL about protecting players. What a bunch of BS! How about protecting EVERYONE not just Tommy Brady...This league makes me sick sometimes. All about their big money. Imagine for a second if those hits and consequently, those injuries were sustained by Brees, Brady, Rodgers....

Watch as he runs full speed into the screen while Gano is down, looking left back at his teammates as if he did not see him...
Pause at the 10 second mark

I was also at the first Eagles Skins game. I saw him hit Kory when he was not even involved in the play, and to me his rolling into Trent Williams ankle was obvious.

RIP Sean Taylor. A true legend.
That was a nasty and uneccesry hit and there is NOTHING - NOTHING i like about the scum who wear the green and white . I mean i dislike the cowboys because they are a rival but Philly is a horrible team and their fans are no better - they have this perverse idea that games are won by the injury count at the end of the game .
What do I expect though from a team that thinks it is fine to have a guy who ran an organized crime ring (dog fighting and money laundering) and saw nothing wrong (and still sees nothing wrong)as their QB- a FO who spits out players considered to be core team members beause they are over 30 and tried to pay Westbrook under the table - AND got away with it , they have a fat ass coach who cares so little for people his sons ended up dealing drugs from their family home, a home which was in such a state the judge referred to them as "a family in crisis" and was "unsafe" (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3089753 - Just as a reminder) and their fan base chears when opposing players lie lifeless on the field with a serious injury ....amongst other things (http://www.myfoxphilly.com/dpp/sport...s-fans-moments), and yet they are often held up in the media as a model ****ing franchise ....
I see the division as a family - i stick up for the NFCEast as a whole - even when we play badly ....
NY Giants I have a rivallry with but can respect them and hope they do well in the playoffs ...
The Cowboys I hate - I find their fans really difficult to talk to about football, they only pay attention when their team is 13-3,- it is a deep seated rivalry that goes back years but thats all it is - if they were in the superbowl i might get behind them depending on who they were playing ...
the Eagles - i have so little regard for them i cannot hate them or care when they play - they are a horrible team with a horrible fan base - the only thing that brings me any joy about that franchise is knowing they have never won a Superbowl, and probably never will ....
Haha, this sounds funny coming from a guy in England, a land that has some of the most violent soccer fans in the world.
Way to go there buddy, painting all fans of a team with the same brush. As for Washington fans, they have no room to complain about criminals. We let one play football, you re-elect yours to political office. Marion Berry, anyone? Do you guys hate the Ravens (Ray Lewis getting off as an accomplice to murder)? I'm pretty sure the Skins have a guy who drunkenly killed someone. Good ol' Donte served 24 days, Vick almost two years. Hey, did Donte ever serve that 1000 hours of community service?
No, I am not excusing Vick. What he did was terrible. At least he served his time.
Almost every team has criminals on the roster!! So, do you hate every team that has killers, drug dealers, rapists, and thieves? I didn't think so.
This really is a very weak argument. And for what its worth quite a few on this board have openly complained about Ray Lewis and were alarmed and disgusted when Haynesworth was brought onto this team. More, yeah, I don't think many on this board are fans of killers, rapists, and thieves. Are you really a fan of them? That's who you support?
I can understand someone excusing a young rich player indulging in recreational drugs, but who supports them being a dealer? Who supports a rapist or a murderer? You have some horrible values if that doesn't bother you.
Dude, please don't tell me that you took my post as supporting criminals. Really???
I have to say I was a bit surprised at the Haynesworth press on this board. There seemed to be just as many people saying how bad the signing was as supporters. After he was released, there were a few idiots on the Eagles' board saying that we should have signed him, lol! Some people never learn.
Agree with you on the recreational drug use. There are more pressing issues these days than someone smoking a joint in his basement. Too bad that stuff stays with you forever.

Well, you certainly were making a justification and equivalence post.
Your statement paraphrased
"My team may be full of criminals, but so are other teams... therefore, it's okay that my team is full of criminals. I support the criminals, rapists and murderers! I like"
You are being intellectaully dishonest here, and I think you are smart enough to know it. Of course, I could be wrong on that point.
I am point out inconsistancies, nothing more. Guys like Vick and Stallwoth did their time, however disparate the sentencing was, and as such, get a second chance. Some crimes are so heinous that no such chance is afforded (Rae Carruth, for example). It is the height of hypocracy for fans of one team to castigate fans of another without acknowledgement of their own team's failing in the same department. I love my dogs and hate what Vick did. I also love people and don't like those who, who willful irresponsibility, get involved with the taking of human life. I also don't like people who think it's okay to sell drugs to others, thereby eroding further the fabric of our society.
anyone else expecting more dirty play from these two this weekend?

Ehh, hope not.
If any **** goes down especially with RGIII, I want our guys jumping in as soon as it happens like the Pens (puke) do for Crosby

I was at the game when Babin took out Lichtensteiger last year. I saw that play and knew immediately Lich was hurt bad. I was so mad no flags were thrown.
