You and I are clearly on different sides, so this probably will not convince you.

Mitt has achieved success in grand things throughout his life. Obama hasn't been up to fixing things. The successful guy is available for hire.

Are you serious? That's horribly depressing if it's true.

Even if people don't plan on voting for Romney they should check out at least some of the key speakers to get a better understanding of where people stand.

This we agree on. Both candidates are about as appealing as a punch in the gut.

My critique of President Obama does not equal an endorsement of Romney.

Signing that into law was criminal. Voting for it (as Paul Ryan did) was criminal

Obama hasn't achieved grand success throughout his life? What precisely is your definition of success? You should study Obama's biography and contrast that to Romney's biography, especially advantages growing up.

I think we could cut 90 percent of our military budget and be the preeminent military power on earth for the next 100 years. Neither party has the balls to do it

No nation comes close to what we spend.

I don't want to trash Eastwood, because I really do respect the man.

I was actually looking forward to his speech today because I knew his politics and wanted to see where he would go with it. I thought he made some valid points on Afghanistan and unemployment, but it was just beyond bizarre to start the national network coverage just before Romney accepts the nomination with an 82-year-old man having a conversation (and arguing back and forth) with an imaginary president who apparently swore quite often.

You have to realize that they bumped the well done introduction video for Mitt Romney to air before national coverage went live so they could put Eastwood up there.

I still like Eastwood, but I felt bad for him afterwards because it seems like they really pushed him to speak and he did them the favor but wasn't really well prepared.

We have no antiwar candidate from either party, no sensible drug policy candidate, no civil liberties candidate, and no candidate who wants to hold banksters accountable.

The only person in this cycle who was all of the above was mocked for being an old kook

Now, being honest, a LOT more people watched the Republican Convention than watched 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo', BUT, since an event like a convention is shown on so many different stations, it allowed for Honey Boo Boo to get the win.
