Joe Gibbs used to give out a Kodak award every week for the best scout team impersonation of that week's opposing team's best player. I'll have a go at it.
You want me to do centrist conservative or Far Right?
"The Internet is like a herd of performing elephants with diarrhea: massive, difficult to redirect, awe-inspiring, entertaining, and a source of mind-boggling amounts of excrement when you least expect it" - I wish I had said this.
The word "but" implies a contrast or exception as such the written implication is that the "misconception" regarding who receives the credit or one's education is bring made by those who received the education, not by those (on the Right) who are making the anti-ibtellectual claims.

Unless Romney wins the first debate decisively, to convince some voters to give him another shot; the race will be effectively over with that first debate. Obama wins and he will open up a bigger lead than he has now that Romney won't have a shot. Race is almost over now, but Romney will get his last shot. He loses that first debate, people will stop paying attention to him.
That debate schedule is a little to compressed. There should've been one debate in September.
"Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will pledge to Hispanics on Monday that if elected he will fix the troubled U.S. immigration system in an appeal to a rising voter bloc that overwhelmingly favors Democratic President Barack Obama."
Wait til they find out he means "fix" as in spay or neuter.
Holy ****.

from what I understand Obama doesn't have a huge lead. All the stats twa posted are within (my assumed margin of error, usually +/- 3)

That fundraiser video is going to break big I bet. You call 47 percent of the electorate lazy freeloaders and... well, it's going to be another tough week for Mitt.

I'd love to be a conservative or to argue for conservative positions, but I just cannot figure out what those are.
I am not sure how to argue for "less taxes" without being able to say what tax rates I consider to be appropriate.
I am not sure how to argue for "less regulation" without being able to say what regulations I consider important and/or necessary.
I could argue that taxes should not punish success and that regulations should not be too onerous... but then everybody will agree with me.
It seems that GOP platform consists of a strange mix of truisms and idiocy.
