"I think throughout this campaign as well, we talked about my record in Massachusetts, don't forget - I got everybody in my state insured," Romney told NBC News, according to a quote on their website. "One hundred percent of the kids in our state had health insurance.
"I don't think there's anything that shows more empathy and care about the people of this country than that kind of record," he continued.
Minutes later, however, Romney railed against Obama's health law, which bears similarities to the Massachusetts provision.
At a campaign rally in Toledo, Romney reaffirmed his commitment to "repeal Obamacare and replace it with real health care reform."
"Obamacare is really Exhibit No. 1 of the president's political philosophy, and that is that government knows better than people how to run your lives," he said.
Romney's smart enough to know that he's full of hot air.
This is more of a reflection on how he views the intellectual capabilities of his voter base.
Romney is down 10 points in Ohio. He's already lost. Voting for him is a waste.
Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves. ~ William Pitt
"The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground" ~ Thomas Jefferson
"Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is force; like fire, a troublesome servant and a fearful master. Never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action." ~ George Washington
What a douche.

The reaction from Scarborough's is priceless after they showed when Romney tried to lead the Romney/Ryan chant
One of the user's comment from the clip is we need a Joe Scarborough meme right now. Romney's campaign is priceless. LOL

On the upswing of voters registering as Republican, how many of the conversions were "Democrats" in 2008 so they could vote in the primaries for anyone but Hillary? I seem to remember Rush urging Republicans to register so they could vote in the Dem primaries. This could all be my funky memory though.
I believe my job as a parent is to give my kids all the blocks they need to build a life in which they can attempt to reach everything they strive for and see anything they can imagine. In a world where everybody finds it easier to destroy than build, I wish for my kids to experience the joy of seeing something for the first time and the love of creating something new.

Apparently all made up. See end of article,
[Author’s note: Jonathan Swift did not really want Irish people to sell their children for food in 1729; George Orwell did not really want the clocks to strike thirteen in 1984; Paul Ryan, I am sure, calls Mitt Romney something more dignified than “Stench” and Microsoft did not invent PowerPoint as a means to euthanize cattle. At least I am pretty sure Microsoft didn’t.]

Someone missed Sportscenter. Man asks Romney about NFL refs coming back. "I sure hope they do." -- Romney
