Because he's been Moderate Mitt a lot more than Conservative Mitt in his real life. His time at Governor shows that much. All that except the whole he knows how to lead out of a recession thing. I don't think he's ever done anything remotely close to that.

He was Moderate Mitt when he was the Governor of an ultra-liberal state, with an ultra-liberal Legislature.

You really want to say that therefore, he will be Moderate Mitt when he's sharing power with Speaker Boehner?

I don't think Obama will do well in the second debate--he is psyched out just like A-Rod.

Obama campaign blasts Romney on abortion

In a hastily organized Wednesday conference call, President Obama's reelection campaign is slamming Mitt Romney on abortion.

"Romney is trying to hide what he really believes," deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter told reporters on the call.

"His severely conservative positions that got him through the GOP primary are still there," Cutter said. "Now he's trying to cover them up."

Romney told the Des Moines Register yesterday that "there's no legislation with regards to abortion that I'm familiar with that would become part of my agenda.”

In a later reversal, Romney's campaign spokeswoman then said: "Romney would of course support legislation aimed at providing greater protections for life."

Interesting tactic. Accuse him of being an ultra-right-winger. (When he's trying to be Moderate Mitt.)

Even if he IS Moderate Mitt, what does he do? Loudly yell that well, when I claimed to be an ultra-right-winger, that was all to placate the mouth breathers who I really don't support?

Interesting tactic from one professing the issue above his pay grade while supporting it

    He's not moderate.

Mitt vetoed something like 800 bills from the Democratic legislature and the Dems then had to override. He's a conservative. He ran campaign ads bragging about fighting it out with his legislature. His signature "moderate" piece of legislation is the one thing he simultaneously tries to own and disown.

Mitt Romney's a conservative who will say absolutely anything to win the Presidency. "Moderate Mitt" is a myth.

Oh for goodness sakes. The polls are not being "manipulated." They are just snapshots of a collection of random people.

Mitt Romney will no longer mention ex-Navy SEAL killed in Libya in speeches

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — Mitt Romney plans to no longer make mention of an ex-Navy SEAL killed in the attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya last month during his campaign speeches, according to aides, after the man’s mother said the GOP presidential candidate should stop invoking her son’s name.

“I don’t trust Romney. He shouldn’t make my son’s death part of his political agenda,” Barbara Doherty said to WHDH-TV in Boston in a statement broadcast Wednesday. “It’s wrong to use these brave young men, who wanted freedom for all, to degrade Obama.”

Glen Doherty, Barbara Doherty’s son, is the ex-Navy SEAL killed last month in the consulate attack.
Maybe its time for all politicians to realize this rarely goes well when they try to use the dead by name to get elected.

Google spokesman says there was no hacking:
A Google spokesman confirms that this is not an intentional "Google bomb." The search results for "completely wrong" are the natural result of a flurry of recent news articles associating Romney with the phrase. How long this will persist, then, simply depends on how long the quote stays in the news—and, to a lesser extent, how many bloggers write posts like this one, which have the effect of perpetuating the association. Sorry Mitt.
    http://www.slate.com/blogs/future_te...ey_photos.html

The only hacking is that Romney called himself "completely wrong."
