Real Clear Politics: 2004 and 2008 looked to be spot on in both. 2012 is the opposite of 2004 leading up to today but the numbers are the same at this point?

Photographers snapped photos and TV cameras shot footage of Ryan and his family washing pots and pans that did not appear to be dirty.

I assume that things like that happen a lot. Come on, even if the pots had been dirty, it still would have been staged.

I doubt that he has the power to order the press people following him not to record.

I might have been a little off. Here is exactly what happened:

As Ryan exited the building some minutes later, a small group of people, some of whom appeared to be homeless, seemed to engage Ryan, and the candidate stopped for several moments and spoke with them.

The campaign escorted photographers from the bus for Ryan's exchange, but reporters were not allowed to do so. Ryan's motorcade took off for the airport a few moments later.

Asked why reporters weren't allowed to listen in on Ryan's exchange with the "homeless-appearing people," a campaign aide said it "was not open to press because it was an impromptu conversation."

Yeah, I'm all for busting Ryan's chops, but this is a complete non-issue. Obama and Biden don't do real soup kitchen duty either (nor should we expect them to).

Well, if all goes to Obama's plan; tonight will be the last good night of sleep for Romney. He will expose Romney for the fraud that he is and you will see the momentum swing back to Obama.

If not, then Obama will be the one with sleepless nights as he watches his reelection slip away.
