What millions? The article says they Mittens blocked the federal funds by vetoing the state match. Or am I missing something?

How is that relevant to flooding that occurred in 2006? 2 years after Mittens blocked federal funds for flood control?

Personally I blame the EPA for Peabody having to delay present efforts at flood control till they got a waiver

    but I don't like them

    Romney:

Well, see, when I win, as President of the United States, this is what I'm going to do in my 6 point plan:

    1) I have a 10 point plan for redecorating the white house. But I'll tell you more about that later.

    2) I have a 7 point plan for creating new jobs. One, I'm going to get rid of those cheaters in China. "B", I'm going to bring manufacturing jobs home. Seven, I can buy more American made checkered patterned blue shirts.

    C) I have a 11 point plan for Medicare. But that's only for people under the age of 65.

    5) I have a 1 point plan for declaring myself King.

    J) I have a 5 point plan for reducing the deficit. But the 47% have to take up the slack.

    6) I have a 8 point plan for going after terrorists. I'll start with Bin Laden.

Who cares what the plan is? Romney is a business man. He has done it before and he will do it again

Somebody, a few days back, posted some fake Mitt who's doing tweets. One was "I'm very concerned [about Sandy]. Several of my friends own insurance companies."

For all the "expanding the map" talk from the Romney campaign, he is campaigning in FL today. Conservatives thought they put FL away 2 weeks ago but now shows as a tie.

So the city businesses suffered because Romney either lied about not getting enough information, or in his own words passively allowed an opportunity to help disappear because other people didn't didn't hold his hand getting said information?

That's the kind of leadership America needs!

GM joins in with Chrysler and destroys Romney campaign.

"I feel obliged to unambiguously restate our position: Jeep production will not be moved from the United States to China," Marchionne said in an email to employees Tuesday, a copy of which was obtained by The Detroit News.

    ...

"At this stage, we're looking at Hubble telescope-length distances between campaign ads and reality. GM's creating jobs in the U.S. and repatriating profits back to this country should be a source of bipartisan pride," GM spokesman Greg Martin said. "We've clearly entered some parallel universe during these last few days. No amount of campaign politics at its cynical worst will diminish our record of creating jobs in the U.S. and repatriating profits back to this country."

Sorry but I seriously doubt that GM is "destroying" the Romney campaign when they're still struggling (mightily) with their finances. And isn't the Obama campaign now funneling more money into the once safe state of Michigan for their campaign? And how about Obama crediting Romney for saying let Detroit or GM fail when it was in fact the NYTimes who penned that line? Even David Letterman called out Obama for being blatantly dishonest not that you'd hear much about that in the media.

The campaign took a risk. They thought they could hit Obama with a lie late in the campaign in a last ditch effort to get Ohio. They got called on it big time. GM and Chrysler quotes/articles are all over OH and MI papers.

Do you really want to re-litigate Romney's "auto rescue" plan which relied on private money and loans from bank at a time when there was no private money or loans to be had? GM is destroying Romney's lie and it will definitely be felt in Ohio and Michigan.
