    Mitt Romney’s late night problem
I think Romney is generally more entertaining than Obama, though not often intentionally.

So, there arent any real metrics that support what you're saying? You're going with "the economy" is going to drive the election?

Of course there are metrics, he's fallen far behind with Independents. His own base is down regards early voting. I just don't want to turn this into a "you post your polls" and "I post mine" becasue those debates never seem to go anywhere. Take as evidence how Obama and his camp is trivializing the election with the petty stuff they're currently using.

Sometimes I try to ask Romney supporters what specific policies and regulations has Obama put in place to ruin America and the economy that weren't there before, but I've just about given up because they can never provide me with an answer. It's just rabble rabble rabble Obama sucks rabble rabble regulations rabble rabble taxes rabble rabble he hates America

You said there are several metrics showing Obama slipping in battleground states. Where are you getting that?

Also, what is the "petty stuff" that Obama is using?

Funny. Last few days, I think we've seen reports from two different states saying exactly the opposite: That Dem early voting is significantly higher than it was when Obama was first elected.

Care to try to support that claim?

Try Gallup, they claim Romney leads in early voting

of course they suck, but so do the other sources

Yea, I have seen the same.

Every "metric" analysis says that I've seen has Obama comfortable ahead too: http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes...-popular-vote/

In that post, Silver talks about the other statistical polling models and how they all are saying what he's saying.

This doesn't mean any of them are right. They could all be wrong and Romney can win. Heck, even Silver gives Romney a 25% chance, which isn't nothing. But, there is no "metric" that says Romney is pulling away right now. Its just not out there.

Interesting if this holds true next week.

    1) Funny. Your post contains an unsupported claim, and isn't related to what I said.

Remember? The claim was "[Obama's] own base is down regards early voting.".

    2) And I don't suppose you've got a link to support the claim that doesn't relate to what I was saying, do you?

I certainly assume that they aren't even allowed to open the envelopes till election day.

(At least, I would hope so.)
