What would A World Without Lawyers be like?
Uh,, "we're going to diversify into China" means
"This is a huge market, and we're going to use it."
It doesn't mean everything is moving to China.
They may open plants and such there because it's probably a lot cheaper to build cars there to sell there than to ship them.
That's only smart business. Sort of like Nissan did here.
You have a problem with capitalism?

Anecdotal evidence is nice but it doesn't really prove much. Living here for over 25 years and having been very involved in local politics, I think I have a handle on party and voting tendencies in the region.
Some of my best friends are Cuban, too.

Yes... you are.

Several readers have asked us about the claims stated in a viral video that criticizes General Motors’ expanding operations in China. The video has received more than half a million views on YouTube since it was posted May 4. The narrator, a man who gives his name as Vince Wade, asks: “Did we bail out GM so that it could become a Chinese company?”
It’s a fair question. The short answer is, “No.”
I wonder how much weight this story actually carries...

If true, the irony is just dripping. The Presidential candidate has just learned that tomorrow afternoon he will be charged with violating the federal Ethics in Government law by improperly concealing his multi-million dollar windfall from the auto industry bail-out.
At a press conference in Toledo, Bob King, President of the United Automobile Workers, will announce that his union and Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) have filed a formal complaint with the US Office of Government Ethics in Washington stating that Gov. Romney improperly hid a profit of $15.3 million to $115.0 million in Ann Romney's so-called "blind" trust.
And before anyone gets their panties in a wad over the source, I get a couple different email news letters from the both the left and right. I don't remember signing up for them they seem to have grabbed my email from visiting sites to research one subject or another. I find them all equally stupid in their partizan representations of "the facts" even when I agree with some of the general principles.
