The last moderate right: George W Bush. You're right though, that worked out pretty well.

Obama failed in leading and got bullied by a depleted and weak GOP.

Mitt wants to lower the rates on all Americans and eliminate capital gains taxes on those of us making less than 200K. That will drastically help the middle class.

I don't care about the upper class and as Romney said, we have programs in place for the lower class. The heart of this country is the middle class and Obama hasn't done much to help us. I'm ready for "change".

Really? He's a sack of ****? He's only the most qualified candidate since George Bush Sr.

Never in my entire life have I seen a candidate I trust less.

He's "qualified"? For what? Judging from his position that "corporations are people" (I wonder what Jesus would say to one of the most de-humanizing statements ever made) I would say he's most definitely NOT qualified to improve the lives of actual humans.

Ok, Obviously Maher was joking. Newsbusters needs to get their panties out of a wad.

(NewsBusters) – Bill Maher on HBO’s Real Time Friday might have said one of the most disgraceful things uttered during the 2012 campaign season.

“If you’re thinking about voting for Mitt Romney, I would like to make this one plea: black people know who you are and they will come after you”
Imagine for a moment the outrage if a conservative commentator said even jokingly to Obama supporters, “White people know who you are and they will come after you.”

That would be the end of that person’s career. Period. No questions asked. Done!

But Maher who’s adored by the Obama-loving media can say this with total impunity.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: HBO should be ashamed to have this disgusting man as one of its on air personalities. Period. End of story.

Will not fail at what? I have no doubt that Romney will not fail as a businessman who is looking out for his own interests. Romney as a public servant - I just do not see him interested in that kind of stuff.

His record as chair of the Olympics and Governor say otherwise.

Romney's no Bush and has the best history of anyone running to work across the aisle. Obama had the majority and didn't do much with it. I'm not seeing the "change" Obama promised and won't see it in a second term.
That may be, but unfortunately, he has this platform underneath him, and I find a lot of it not just disagreeable, but downright objectionable and offensive.

Even if Romney indeed was a highly successful business leader- anyone who thinks that managing a private-sector business is similar to managing Congress knows nothing about either.

Can anyone point to something tangible that supports Mitt Romney's claim that he is better suited to reduce the deficit and improve the economy? Something other than him just saying it.

George W was no moderate. Go back and look at his 2000 platform. Not a moderate. Gore was the moderate (aside from Global Warming).

This is a pretty ignorant statement. Go back and look at what's made Romney, Romney. He'd be perfect as President. He's an uber manager.

If Mitts business career is any indication, he will drive up the deficit and extract money from lower/middle class people to benefit the wealthy. That's basically exactly what he's done for the past 30 years.
