It certainly is a free country, but the primary seasons could be changed in any number of ways to shorten the process and primary debates don't need to start a year before the first primary. It won't be long until the first primaries are a full year before the election.

Your are dreaming. They will never do it. The long primary season are money generators and the states are not going to give that up.

You will see candidates hang around alot around Iowa and New Hampshire the next 2 years and I think before Christmas 2014 you will see the 2016 Presidential Race begin in ernest.

Did you miss the Republican announcement when Obama won that his main job was to ensure Obama was a one term president? This election cycle began the day Obama was sworn in to office.
