Romney places responsibility for the sequestration on Obama.

Ryan was for the sequestration before he was against it

Ryan: "Defense spending is not half of all federal spending, but it's half of the cuts, approximately, in the sequester. We disagreed with that then and we disagree with it now."
But defense spending is more than half of Discretionary Spending

Yes, Romney will certainly gain favor with his Republican colleagues in Congress by openly defying something most of them agree on.
Guess this is what happens when you've got a bunch of pro-war Bush neo-cons working with you on the campaign trail...
What % of military spending is discretionary in your estimation?
I look forward to the free contraceptives though
wait!!!...does this mean the military bio-fuel program is gonna get cut?![]()

It amazes me that you think that actually happens.
I mean I dig it if the government gave out free condoms, but, you know...they don't. Nor is anyone asking them to.
Not sure what that has to do with the amount of money we spend on the military, which, you know...was what people were taking about.

I wasn't aware Sandra Fluke asked the government for free contraception.
Here in what I like to call "reality", she was asked to speak on whether or not employer-funded insurance programs---you know, private insurance, as in not government funded, like, at all---should have to include coverage for contraception.
But don't let reality get in the way of what Rush and the rest of the dumb-dumbs who lie to you over what Fluke said.

It doesn't matter.
It should be at the discretion of private insurance whether or not they cover contraception and one should not go boo hooing to the government to force them to give it to them.
But it won her a speaking role at the Dependancy Convention, which is nice.
How about the huge amount of **** we don't need. We spend more money on defense than anyone in the westernized world. Even if we cut $500 billion dollars out of defense spending, we would still be spending more than anyone else on defense.
The fact is I don't know what exactly Obama will cut. I don't know if he'll cut the military bio-fuel program. To be honest, I'm not the most well versed on how much we spend on what when it comes to military spending. All I know is that claims that cutting defense spending will somehow endangerous us as a nation, even though even with Obama's defense spending cuts we'd be spending more money on the ability to blow people right the **** up, are freaking bull****.
If you're going to preach fiscal conservative dogma, then you have to be willing to look at spending cuts to all programs. We've got more than enough stuff to blow up anyone who threatens our national security. We shouldn't cut the funding to research and development programs, but we spend like 12% of our military budget on R&D. Most of the rest of it goes to blowing **** up.

It doesn't mean she was asking for contraception from the government.
