Life without the possibility of parole. That's what I want for Sandusky. Anything else and he's getting off easy, including the death penalty.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but the weird thing about this story is that the DA who chose not to prosecute Sandusky in 1998 and be missing since 2005 under very mysterious circumstances. I feel what's being revealed now is just the tip of the iceberg and it is going to be pretty damn big iceberg.

This is just the beginning. If the rumors of Penn. St. telling Sandusky to retire in return for a coverup and Sandusky was pimping out the boys to rich donors are true; this will be one of the biggest human tragedies ever and will bring down more people; not just former or soon to be former Penn. St. employees.

Good Deadspin article on how many Pennsylvania youth Second Mile assisted in 2008 alone.
388,365. That's a lot of minors he had access to.

Ellesar has made very good points which is why when I first read it it threw me off. I don't think anybody ACTUALLY would believe JoePa has so much power that he could tell somebody to kill themself and they would. That's what led me to believe he was mocking all the conspiracy theories that were rampant at the time of his post.
Oh, and the last sentence about mountains acting like a satellite dish harnessing his power is the over-the-top giveaway.

Griffin said that he was going to watch the game with his family and that he will never attend a Super Bowl if he needs a ticket to get in.
Another Deadspin article about the Madden rumor regarding "pimping out" children. Mentions why people should be skeptical, but then why they shouldn't.
http://deadspin.com/5858394/And now one reason there might be something—something—to this. Here's a text exchange I had with a journalist in Pittsburgh:
Him: FYI, he ain't bluffing here.
Me: How do you know?
Him: I don't know for sure. I just know he is confident in what he has.
Me: He's also a professional troll who loves attention. He's going on radio stations all over the country today.
Him: Separate his on-air persona with journalistic chops. Mark was a hell of a reporter. Don't dismiss him.
Me: We have the audio of his comments. He calls it a rumor.
Him: Fair. I know Mark well. I just have a very strong feeling he's not bluffing here.
As an aside, I don't understand that "life is worse than death penalty" rationale. Seems stupid to suggest life without parole is worse than execution. Do you think there's any convicts in prison for life saying "Execute me to release me from the agony of life"? Whereas there's plenty of lawyers arguing life for clients on death row.
All the protestors saying the death penalty is cruel and inhumane, why aren't they protesting against "life without parole" instead, if it's worse?
