And then you have the bonus tourney with a bunch of other teams some better than the ones that made the real tourney.

C'mon, man. There's not even a question that college basketball is better in March. That is, without question, one of the best times of the entire year (sports-wise).

I've been watching the NBA since the early 80s and I could really care less if they cancel the season. At least with college hoops you sense the players are doing it for their love of the game.

Bull**** about the whole love of the game thing. These players have been getting paid way before Dexter Manley was driving a new Jag on campus.

Not all of them are amigo. The smaller colleges have great games to watch, those players aren't getting much in money, if anything at all. I hope they cancel the season because then players and owners alike will realize what little value the NBA has relative to other sports.

Nascar is like the NBA. The same people win every year because it's all about who pays the most money. You can't win unless you have the most money in the car.

Maybe because the average salary is $5 million, and they're a bunch of prima-donas?

They're the best in the world at what they do....they deserve the money they make. I'm sure there are some top surgeons around the world who make crazy $ and are prima-donnas as well...u just dont have a problem with them b/c they arent in the public eye like basketball players

5 teams legitimately have a chance to contend each year. The rest are scrubs.

Yeah March is dismal. Playoff hockey is around the corner, football is over and thank God for the Tournament.

Sounds like the same thing college basketball typically offers up, college football as well.
