Default Redskins vs Patriots: Official ES CB/S Discussion Thread

Sorry, guys, too much went south this week and didn't have time to get a crew together for these or develop solid OPs for these threads--so you're all on your own to get it rolling and keep it interesting. Talk football! Do it right! I have faith in youse!

Suspend critical thinking field! Go to course heading of reflexive response 101 at full bias!
    Now!'Enter' at will!"

Was Hall a giant fool on the big penalty or are the refs ****ed on that one?

No, hall was a HUGe idiot on that play, acted like a punk.
The hold was totally legit, he knew it, and still acted like a punk by throwing the flag.
I'd rather he give up a 20 yard pass then give it up like that.

I support DHall, but i can't keep doing it if he's going to behave like that.
    It is just stupid.

If this team is to eventually climb it's way back to respectability, Hall has to go.

His antics each week walk right up to the line and at least once or twice a season, he boils over.

    Can't have that here.

I don't want Hall anywhere near the younger defensive backs who are drafted or otherwise acquired; it'd be poisonous to their development. Honestly, I don't want the guy on the team anymore.

Nice end zone INT by Josh Wilson!

Let's hope management doesn't decide to go 100% offense this offseason.

It's no disgrace to give up first downs to Brady on 3rd and long, but the Skins have been doing it over and over for 8 or 9 games. IMO they need a starting safety and a starting CB.

Overall Hall made a bad play, but did not have a bad game. The Pats wide recevers were not a factor.
Josh Wilson had a very good game, and the pick was an outstanding play.

Other notes.. on the play by Gronkowski in the first quarter when he dragged us up the sidelines... Reed Doughty made one of the most pathetic tackle attempts I have seen all year.
Other than that play, Gomes played a decent, disciplined game for his experience. Gronkowski was a monster, though so safeties and linebackers in pass coverage werre getting completely overmatched. I console myself by thinking Gronk has done that to everyone he's played, and he's just a beast.

Hall really needs to go. If we pay him 7 mil fro another year of this, I really have to question this FO.

We need a really good CB, Wilson seems like a decent number 2. Hall is a clown, he should really go. He's embarassing to have on this team. Safety position seems fine.

Reed Doherty has reached his use by date, he should be offloaded at the seasons end. Kronkowski beat us on his own, he is just too big too fast and too strong, had dirty 30 played it might have been different. Generally speaking i was happy with the way we played today.

if we could only get rid of one player before next season, IMO should be D Hall.

Huge mouth, poor production, bonehead play, standing around. Sick of his shtick.

Are you talking about the play where Hall threw down Welker and then threw the flag?
I thought Hall took some plays off or just didnt show up. I hate to criticize players, but just my two cents.... He is suppose to be a veteran and he cant do stupid stuff like that, period.

Doughty and Barnes need to go. Gomes sucked too but he's still a rookie, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Hall is fine, but we need a legit #1 CB. That's our next biggest need after QB.
