I haven't laughed this hard in weeks. Oh goodness...
Every year we have the banged up O-line. Never fails.....why can't we have a healthy o-line??
Good god. Does anyone know off hand how many original week 1 starters are not starting or no longer on the roster/ir as of week 13? And secondly, how that matches up to the NFL average? I'd be very curious to see those stats. I know everyone has injuries, but doesn't it seem like this has been a really bad year for us?
"Does this help with sacks n stuff??"
Brown had cramped up pretty bad.
It's the law of averages. If X amount of players are going to get hurt in a given year, odds are the offensive line is going to get hit pretty hard. If you keep ten linemen, that makes up a fifth of your roster, FAR more than any other unit.
True franchises don't build 5 good starters and "hope" none of them get injured. They understand that men who weigh north of 300 pounds have a penchance for rolling their ankles, buckling their knees, or throwing out their backs. And they also understand that these injuries, which may be healed in days for people under a buck eighty, might take weeks to get these big boys off crutches. True franchises built up 3 great lineman, 1 good one, and six average/serviceable ones. They sacrifice one or two great starters in exchange for the depth, so that WHEN (not if) one of them gets hurt, there isn't too much of a drop off.
I wonder if something else is wrong. How do you cramp up before the game? During the time you are stretching and lossening up.
