Well, I'm joking (kind of). Because I STILL have no idea how we beat them (well, we scored more points, but you know what I mean) Meh, doesn't work there. Giants are in our division.

IMHO Ricky Williams like trade is worth it for a franchise QB. RG3 seems level-headed, plus franchise QB>>>>>franchise RB.
I have a feeling that Hanks gonna light it up for us this year. I believe he was well on his way to doing it last year until he got hurt. Add a young stud QB (hopefully RGIII) to Helu/Royster and Fred Davis and I think we will have a young quality offense. At least thats what Im hoping for.
You could say those very things about the Colts in the early 2000s, the Giants up until about 5 years ago, and the Steeler's pre-2004.
Point I'm trying to make is, all of our offensive players get an upgrade when you add a playmaker like Griffin. Granted, it wouldn't hurt to surround him with more talent, but Griffin throwing to Hankerson, Davis, and Gaffney is a lot more dangerous than Rex throwing to anyone.
Goodbye, Bubba. RIP.

The other thing is, if Shanahan tries to build without a QB, he has a high probability of ending up gone within 2-3 years, along with a large chunk of his personnel who make our FO good. Meanwhile, if he gets a QB, even if we don't have all the other pieces, odds are good he'll be around long enough to build all those pieces. We'll have a much better chance of sustained success if Shanahan gets to stay longer, which we'll have a much better chance of if he figures out QB sooner rather than later.
If we get RG3, he'll at least be around longer than Shanahan will. If We get Manning, they're both gone in 2 years anyway, and we'll be left in the pit again.
I still says Tanahill could be our guy, without giving up our much needed second and next year's first

If Cleveland is not involved in this deal. A 2012 1st, 3rd and 2013 1st should do the job

when you have the chance to draft a potentially elite franchise QB, you take it. EXPECIALLY if your current lineup is Rex Grossman and John Beck. the fact that not everyone else on the team is a pro bowler should not stop you. this is an opportunity and position we may not find ourselves in in 2013, 2014, or 2015.

I had a ridiculously vivid dream last night. It was like I was watching sportscentre 12 months from now, and it was looking back at the 'surprise package of 2012 - the washington redskins'.
We picked up Dwayne Bowe and Tracy Porter in free agency, and then came over the top of Cleveland to offer the Rams our 2012 1st and 2nd round picks, our 2013 first round pick, and Terrence Austin to move up. We took RGIII with the pick.
RGIII went on to win rookie of the year by a mile, ad we made it to the NFC Championship game, losing it to (of all teams) the Detroit Lions by several TDs.
It was sooo vivid. I woke up and realised it was February 2012 and was actually kinda bummed.
Ah well.
