They better hurry up and involve Landry in this trade & get it done.
He's bound to look like this by March 13th.

Its a n interesting Mock, but I read an article that suggested the Bruce Irvin might have improved to the 1st Round with his workout. I dunno if I buy that even as an 'Eer Homer, but if it's true you might see him there somewhere.
I think we hold the cards here. We can trade, or not trade, sit or trade down. I mean if we can't get who we want we'll pick someone else.
People are making a big deal about the Rams trading down to #6 VS #4 to the Browns.
I'm like, really?
The Rams can still land a blue chip prospect at #6.
#1 Colts=Luck
#2Redskins (via trade rams)=RG3
#3)Vikings=Kalil, Blackmon, Claiborne, Richardson (4 left)
#4)Browns=Kalil, Blackmon, Claiborne, Richardson (3 lef0
#5)Bucs=Kalil, Blackmon, Claiborne, Richardson (2 left)
#6)Rams (via Skins)=Everyone has Riley Reiff locked in here and I completely disagree. (1 left)
The only guy I don't think they'll take is RB Trent Richardson.
You have a Browns team that will have major interest with Hillis gone.
And a Bucs team that could have serious interest.
If either team takes him, that drops either Kalil, Claiborne or Blackmon to #6 for the Rams.
They could use either player for that squad.
Obviously, they want Blackmon, but Claiborne would be a huge upgrade to that secondary & Kalil (#1 OT) falling to #6 would be a steal for them.
And lets say it is Richardson that falls to #6?
It's not like Jackson is young anymore. Dude will be 29 in July.
I would not just scoff this off, even as unlikely as it may seem.
The Rams trading down to #6 is a perfect spot for them to trade down, imo.

I'd really like to see something along the lines of '12 1 and 3, and '13 1,3, and 5.
That probably wouldn't do it, but that would be absolutely outstanding if we could pull that.

On ESPN they are saying it would be an 'Eli type deal': http://espn.go.com/nfl/draft2012/sto...nfl-draft-pick
Yes, If we can somehow come out of this keeping our 2nd rounders for 2012 & 13', we could easily parlay those picks by trading down and picking up additional 4th & 5th rounders.
While still picking late in the 2nd round.
it's a genius move.
All in all...the only pick you really can't get back, is the 2013 1st rounder.
All others, are redeemable.
But ONLY if you keep your 2nd rounders.
God I love football!
