Did anyone else have a dream last night about waking up in the morning and finding out the Skins had made this trade? In my dream we gave up 1,2,3,5 this year, 1 and one other mid round pick from 2013, and some undisclosed pick in 2014? I dunno what I had to eat before bed last night, LOL.

Oh man I completely had this dream last night. We gave up two 1's and a 2, and swapped our 3rd rounder for their 4th. I woke up completely psyched and turned on the tv hoping for the good news. I don't know how to control my hysteria until April.

You never know. One thing I'll say about Jones is he rarely gossips and flings stuff out there so presume he must have confidence in this. His blog IMO is boring compared to JLC and heck even J Reid. Funny enough I miss JLC, yeah he can be wrong at times yeah he was snotty about the team especially relating to Cerrato -- but the dude's blog was constantly churning during the off season with stuff, if he was covering this situation, he'd be throwing daily tidbits.

Personally I wouldn't think a deal is going to be made all that soon, if at all. There could be a lot of smoke being put up. I'm sure the Redskins have talked to the Rams, like hey man what do you want for #2? That much OMG no way. What do you really want for it? If something happens your NOT going to be reading it in the Washington Post insider. You will hear about it on draft day when #2 is called on the board. How many times have you heard about a draft day trade months before it happens?

I agree 100% no way the rams do this deal early... And even if they have a deal in principal, no way they put it out to the public and screw up another would be trade partner who may offer more.

I had that dream a couple nights ago, only the Colts picked Kalil with the first pick and we picked Kirk Cousins with the second. I was mortified

I don't know.. I think the value of that pick right now is more valuable today than after some of these FA QB's land with new teams. I think the Rams would be smart to say a deal has to be in place before FA starts. I don't remember many picks changing hands early though. I think we will all be surprised by what it will really take to move up to #2. I think it will cost a team less than what everyone is speculating.

The only thing i would say to that is there is some risk to hold onto that pick. If Manning and Flynn go to the Dolphins/Browns respectively than the Rams are really only dealing with us and a mystery team if any.

In addition, what if something happens to RG3 on Pro Day (God forbid him getting hurt) but that value really goes down for that #2 pick. If the Rams are happy with what they are getting in return I can see them making the deal right now. When has RG3's stock ever been higher? Never. The Rams want to cash in on the hype after his combine performance. It makes sense to me!

I prefer it over anything JLC or Reid did. I'd rather read stories with some basis of truth, than ravings of an anti-Skin reporter any day. Boring or not. The National Enquirer is entertainment, but I don't go there to get anything substantial or even think twice about their stories, same with JLC.

Per Rich Tandler from CSN in an article I just posted in BRBN: The Redskins and Rams are free to discuss making such a trade now. However, no deal can be finalized before the start of the league year on March 13. Many analysts believe that nothing will take place until closer to the April 26 NFL Draft.
