It can be announced that the parameters are in place for the trade.....it just isnt "official" until that time.

Or does it take into account that Stanford's offensive line is one of the best in college football and could have two offensive lineman drafted in the first round?
Poor OL or not Griffin had a 20% completion percentage and a 15.1 QB rating against the 3rd down blitz. Those are absolutely horrific numbers and raise a red flag about his ability to handle pressure. He is sure to face plenty of it in the NFCE. The price to aquire him is outrageous. Move on.

Do you understand HOW bad his offensive line is?

If he sucks it's because on third down blitz he drops back and gets sacked.

I dont agree with this. The teams that didnt land a QB in FA are going to be chomping at the bit to get that number 2 pick. I think the value is even higher after FA.

You'll never find a flawless prospect. Luck, and then Griffin are about as close as you'll come

"Against a 3rd down blitz." That's pretty specific. I'll take my chances that he'll get better against that, and be able to scramble against it.

    ^^^^^ this.

if the rams have already agreed to a deal, there would be no reason to not announce it now. there is no "secret" agreement in place - wishful thinking guys.

You're seriously making a judgment on RG3 based solely on stats?

Robert Griffin III - QB - Player
Citing a team source, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports the Dolphins' motivation to surrender a draft-pick package for Baylor's Robert Griffin III "isn't very high."
The Dolphins have "some level of interest" in trading up for Griffin, but it's cost prohibitive. Miami would have to fork over more picks than the Browns or Redskins because their first-rounder holds less value. The Dolphins will instead aim for Peyton Manning and Matt Flynn as the top two options at quarterback.
