Skip Bayless is a ****ing *******.Bayless: ďThis just made me sick at my stomach. I have been obviously driving the RGIII bandwagon since about mid-season. And he didnít deserve this kind of pressure heaped on top of the obvious pressure that he will already feel as the No. 2 overall pick....This was a grandstand move by Mike Shanahan....The problem is, Kirk Cousins is more NFL ready right now than RGIII, who was a late bloomer....If Kirk Cousins has four or five big quarters in the exhibition games, all of the sudden you create a quarterback controversy that RGIII doesnít deserve....Ē
Smith: ďWeíre talking about the Washington Redskins here. I mean, youíre talking about an organization, I donít care if they had seven different picks and all of them were quarterbacks. As awful as they have been at that position, excuse me, you need all the help you can get. You need all the insurance that you can get....I donít want you as my starting quarterback if you are fazed by Kirk Cousins. No disrespect to him, but I donít want you as my starting quarterback if you are fazed by Kirk Cousins.Ē
Bayless: ďIf youíre not going to bring this up, Iím going to bring this up. Obviously, Robert Griffin III is a black quarterback. And even though weíve come a long long way, with black quarterbacks, and they have been consistently been taken high in the draft over the last 15 years, Iím not sure weíve come all that far in protecting said black quarterback, publicly protecting. So now youíve drafted another rookie whoís not a black quarterback, and it sets up wrong for RGIII on a racial component level. Iím sorry. It just does.Ē
Smith: ďWeíre talking about Chocolate City, baby! This is the nationís capital, ok? And Iím telling you right now, something goes awry with RGIII, itís gonna be Mike Shanahanís head that rolls....Mike Shanahan will be gone before you could spell his last name. This is Chocolate City weíre talking about. If you were in Indianapolis, you would have a very valid point, Indianapolis, Jacksonville or some other place like that, maybe. But Chocolate City, trust me, itís not a concern, itís not a concern.Ē
Bayless: ďI donít know the racial breakdown of the Redskins season ticket holders, but Iím gonna suggest that itís a majority white fans. Wouldnít you agree with that? Weíre not talking about the racial breakdown of the city; of the stadium. Iím just saying there are gonna be a lot of boo birds who are gonna be quicker to boo if the white quarterback is out-playing the quarterback in the preseason. And the black quarterback gets off to a rough start in his first two games? Watch what happens.Ē
Eric Mangini: ďItís about having another good, young quarterback that you felt strongly about there to develop along with RGIII, should RGIII get hurt. Mike Shanahan is married to RGIII. His future is tied to RGIII, not Kirk Cousins....RGIII and Mike Shanahan, theyíre married. And if this doesnít work out, somebodyís losing their house, and itís not RGIII. Itís Mike Shanahan whoís gonna have to move on....If you can get a good young starting quarterback and be able to back him up with another good young starting quarterback that you develop in your system, thatís good business. Thatís smart. And thatís forward thinking.Ē
"That's not enough rings," Griffin said. "We've got to get more."
"Alright, Sammy," Griffin said. "I'll see you later."
.....................Thanks for the sig Beggarsnthieves!
I noticed in this picture Robert is wearing his dreads tied into one...I think this is incredibly smart of him, think of all the times players tackle eachother by the hair (Troy Polamalu anyone)? Probably just coincidental, but then again maybe not... he is a smart guy, after all.

Trent Richardson does the same thing.
This is worthy of a thread? lol
I agree it's a good idea.
That's all I got. lol
No, if he were really smart, that hair would be (at least at game time) stuffed in that helmet.
you have to catch him first before they can touch his hair. RG3 is too fast to be touched. daa
Lets win some f'n gamres
Rick Snider :1st impressions of RG3 on field: best arm I've seen on Redskins since Sonny Jurgensen. How's that? I know, don't praise people before games. But, after many years out here I can usually tell who has game and who doesn't from minicamp. Always thought RG3 would be a good choice, but after seeing on field he's a great choice. Biggest draft pick since '80s.
RGlll's hair is braided not loc'd.
Kevin Barnes, Tim Hightower, Brandon Banks, Jordan Bernstine have dreadlocs.
Mike Shanahan on the building momentum "I tell our players, let your play do your talking. Talk is cheap."
