Already hearing rumors of a protest crowd building up at the Nashville airport. (just rumor at this point though)

entucky Sen. Rand Paul (R) was detained Monday by the Transportation Security Administration in Nashville, Tenn. after refusing a full body pat-down, POLITICO has confirmed.
“I spoke with him five minutes ago and he was being detained indefinitely,” Paul spokesperson Moira Bagley said Monday morning. “The image scan went off, he refused patdown.”

TSA are ****ing awful. They stole my things and left a note. They harassed me and my puppy. This was in San Juan. In Philly they were really cool and helpful. I actually hung out with them a bit, but they would let me help them.

I thought it was illegal to detain a Senator going to Washington?
That and the common sense vacancy at the TSA if they seriously believe a member of Congress would blow up a plane returning to DC.

He wanted to go through the scanner again, the TSA said no and implemented President Obama's indefinite detention policy.
