    Default Trent Richardson

Not sure what Coach is thinking about but I believe that if Trent Richardson is there with the 6th pick we need to take him, I see him being a 1000 yard rusher for many years because of his physicality, toughness and speed. We will be set at running back for years with Helu as a 3rd down back and if Hightower is healthy he can back up Richardson. As far as QB, if we could get Matt Flynn and then draft a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round that would be great. We definately should try to get a big smart WR if we can either thru the draft or free agency. We are set at TE and seem to be getting better on the O-line. No matter what I will be rooting them on. For some reason, I like the Shanahans and Bruce Allen, I feel the intensity coming back and hopefully a family type organization in the works. The team needs to watch the movie Miracle and if they get that hungry then Playoffs here we come.

If we use the #6 overall pick on a RB I will burn down redskins park.

If you're going to take a running back in the top-10, he better have the skill set of Adrian Peterson. Richardson does not. That would be an AWFUL pick for the Skins. We have other areas of need and I'd be really disappointed if this is the direction the team went with the #6. Also, Helu showed a ton of promise and Royster came on strong towards the end of the year. Hightower is solid, so there's your trio. Roll w. that next year and see what happens.

runningback is literally the only position that we have legitimate young talent at on offense

Marty Schottenheimer hasn't coached the Redskins for 10 years now.

    The OP made me

This post, and the fact that you had to edit it from something else, made my day.

But seriously, don't burn down Redskins Park, please.

I know that I've read dumber threads on this board before, but right now I can't think of any. Taking a RB at #6 when we have a need at every single other position on the offense besides RB and TE (if sleepy can stop trying to be dopey) is so asinine that I can't even believe any Redskins fan that has paid attention to this team in the past decade, never mind the past season could suggest such a thing.
