Christie wants to be president in 2016. That is very clear.

Has anyone else seen this bs being passed around facebook and email?
"HB 1388 was passed behind our back by Obama great... 20 million in tax payers money goes down the drain. Please no more Obama oh and he also built a replica debate stadium just to practice more money down the tubes..it's Bs!"
Republicans keep passing this around and don't care that it's been proven false on multiple occasions. Some people believe what they want to believe, regardless of facts.

Yes and no. He has been a Romney advocate but while doing it he has been a Chris Christie advocate even more. Listen to his RNC speech; he probably mentioned Romney 3 times total while talking up what he has done and his views the entire rest of the time. I think Christie is being a loyal GOPer but is hedging his bets and trying to make sure that, if Obama wins, he doesn't come out looking like a battered Romney supporter who goes down with that ship.

Will not happen. He's not even going to be reelected next year for governor. He will go nowhere in the 2016 or should Romney win, 2020 nomination. The guy has narrow appeal and the right wing that really dominates the early primaries will not vote for him. Odds are the next Republican nominee whether that's 2016 or 2020 will be someone to the right.
You may be right about his view of the race and having to work with Obama for the rest of his term. As far as doing what is best for himself and doing what is best for his state I don't think the two are necessarily mutually exclusive. I don't doubt that he cares about his state and the people in it and wants to make sure they are taken care of but at the same time he can do that while keeping the politics of it and how it affects his political future in the back of his mind.
Why would he not play up to O with the disaster recovery ongoing?
He does not lose by doing so and no one besides Obama supporters really care....Christie is brash, not stupid

I'm just curious why you think he won't appeal to these people? I'm about as liberal as a person can get, but I have to say that if he actually got the nomination, I'd be scared Lol. I mean, I don't agree with his policies, but he's a straight shooter, maybe a bit of an ******* lol, but a straight shooter nonetheless, and I have to respect the hell out of him for that.
