I'm about 1 mile outside of city limits and its sunny here still. I have trouble believing its live, but with the weather patterns here lately, I guess I should be open to about anything.

When they say 40% chance of rain, that means that it's only raining on the 40% of people in Charlotte who are Democrats. Republicans and Independents will stay dry.

It's another marketing opportunity for the Weather Channel (aside from hurricanes and snow storms) to get noticed.

i'll be honest, there seem to be more Democratic ES posters on the board than there were in 2008. I remember the outrage in the thread created once Obama got elected

My wife just gave a massage to a Dem Governor while surrounded by security and his wife. She wasnt even aware this client was a pol. but she was paid very well.

See? The Dems are good for something! (I cant really say the same about the GOP, so there's that)



btw: It wasnt raining at all in uptown Charlotte and she was there since 2 PM...

I wouldn't be surprised if it is over 90% at this point. Likely a combination of new liberal posters and a significant exodus of Moderates and Conservatives.

Exactly. Conventions are to fire up the base but they are also a platform to introduce yourself to the rest of the country and set the mood for the campaign. The GOP convention failed. Period.

And yet unless the President can pull a rabbit out of the hat tonight, it can said that the DNC was even less successful than the GOP convention. So your point is?
